The engine is burning oil, the oil coming out of the exhaust pipe is a serious problem, it could be that the engine needs completely reconditioning or fit a reconditioned engine, you may be able to get an engine from a wrecking yard but it could be almost as bad as the one that you have......hope this helps.......cheers.

I OWN A 1996 NISSAN QUEST GXE THAT'S BLOWING BLUE SMOKE FRONT FRONT DRIVER SIDE TIRE AND I CAN SMELL ANTI FREEZE INSIDE.. I JUST BOUGHT VEHICLE AS A COMMUTER.

Sounds expensive. Blue smoke usually means oil in the combustion chambers, from worn out rings. Anti-freeze inside means leaking hoses or heater core. Not sure where the driver-side tire comes into this, unless that is where the smoke is coming from, in which case that likely a problem with a seized brake caliper.

03 nissan altima has white steam always coming from the exhaust pipe. car runs and drives good. just dont know while it always steaming like it still winter.

Could be oil smoke, it's white with a slight blue tint. If the engine was not properly maintained or abused, the piston rings can wear. Worn piston rings might allow oil from the crankcase to pass into the combustion chamber; there, it will be burned and pushed out the exhaust.

Almeria 2.2 dci white smoke

White smoke from the exhaust indicates engine coolant entering the cylinders; usually caused by a blown head gasket or a cracked head. Continuing to run the engine will allow coolant to go through the engine internals and destroy them.

1.9 dci no power and bluey grey smoke is coming from the exhaust

There are indeed traces of oil coming out of the exhaust. Blue smoke is burning oil. Grey or white smoke is usually coolant/water going through the engine. This can be caused by leaking head gaskets, valve guides depending on the engine, excessive blow-by, etc. Large amounts of oil are not good; and water is even worse. I would look at getting the head gasket replaced. The loss of power is because neither oil or water likes to burn, and once your engine clears it out, it probably runs ok for the rest of the day. Then I'm guessing the next morning, it comes back. This is an urgent fix, because prolonged leakage can damage the engine block, head, or both.
