I thinl we answered this already

I have the same car 2004 L/S
& just did an HAVC Vent Motor Assy
under the dash

There are 5 under there

You figure out which feature doesn't
direct air flow to the correct place using
the dash button,if you have no professional
scan tool then you go to Motorcraft Web site
& look up the part, blow up the diagram of where
it goes & write down to part #

Then you buy it from Amazon for around $36.00
Some are easy to get to,mine was the worst & took a
couple hours, actually I had more problem with the glove
box than the vent motor install

You never have to add any bottled product ,
to any vehicle system

Those products are not a fix for anything,
& very seldom do a thing

How would water get into your fuel tank &
how do you know you even have water in there?

What you should be telling us & asking,is what is wrong
with the vehicle in some detail eg: you ask a question
& provided no problem

This is just a chat room,no one has anything to do
with the web site

No one including a repair shop, in
my opinion will give you a price

I own the same car & replaced an
HVAC Vent Motor a few months ago

The motor can be bought on Amazon
fo $33.00
To install it is not an easy job, depending on
the one that failed. There are 5 on the car

You need a professional scan tool & go the
enhanced modes, to look at the codes & find
the failed motor, or you will obviously know if
you use the manual buttons which ducts do not switch.

I wouldn't touch that job for less than 2 hours labor
I have 49 years experience, but I'm retired & not a
professional,probably know more than most

There are 3 fuse panels located on your vehicle. The first one is located in the right hand (passeneger side) kick panel (sorry I don't have a picture of its location). In that fuse panel in the number 32 position is the cigarette lighter fuse and should be a 20 amp fuse (picture of fuse layout I did have and is below). As far as the air conditioner, there is a couple of things you can check. In the front power distribution box located under the hood in the engine compartment (see picture below) in the number 1 position is a 10 amp fuse which handle the air condition clutch and other componants for the A/C (see picture of layout underneath location picture). Also in that same fuse panel in the relay 08 position is the relay for the clutch on the A/C compressor itself. The last fuse panel you have is located in the trunk of your car and is called the rear power distribution box (see picture of location of that below). Now i'm not sure but this may be what you are talking about when you say cigarette lighter but in the number 10 position in that box (yes another picture below that one for the layout) is the power point fuse for the console which should be a 20 amp fuse and also in that same panel in the number 12 position is a 20 amp fuse for the power point located in the ashtray. I mention those because they are the same shape as a cigarette lighter and wanted to be on the safe side just in case also the fact to let you know that there is a fuse panel back there. i hope this helps you and good luck.

Go to autozone, and they will read the code for free, it's probably shaking, because it's not running smooth at an idle

You have a code for the ABS System

The most common cause, is a bad front
wheel speed sensor

PEP Boys should have found and fixed it in
30 minutes

No Professional I know of,sends people to
a dealer.

I have the same car.

Try a local repair shop that has a good rep for
diagnostic work

If the entry lock code is not in the owners manual, you'll have to take the car to the dealer to have them scan the computer for the code.

Sound like you have a blend door actuator that had stopped working. You have cold AC on the drivers side but not the passenger side? Your car has dual zone climate control where you can adjust either side independently. If you have cold air when you ask for it and hot air when you ask for it then the overall system is working properly, it is just that one side is not moving the blend door between the heater core and the evaporator core. Either you have something inside of the hater box that is keeping the door from moving or that hte motor that is suppose to move the door has quit.

Sounds like someone played an April Fool's trick on you by using the remote start. Or a neighbor has the same frequency and activated your car as well as theirs.
