I have a 97 saturn

If this alam was installed aftermarket, most of the time they hook up a relay in start wire just below steer colum inside car- most of the time you can see a wire which was cut to be interrupted through relay to prevent starter from working, if relay or connections fail, vehicle will not turn over

Where is the starer relay

Check in this box by the battery. Not sure it's there as I don't have the owner's manual. If you have the manual, it may be listed in there.

I believe the radiator plug came out of my 1997

The plug is plastic; if it came out, you can probably engineer a quick fix. I don't recall being able to replace just the plug on mine; but I needed to replace the radiator anyway. If you have the plug; I'd try to slip it back in. It has a groove on one side to allow it to twist; normally it twists open and then back closed.

Can you take the motor for 1997 geo metro and put

the metro is either a 3 or 4 cylinder japanese mitsubishi engine and has nothing in common with the 4 cylinder GM 1.9L 4. so you would have to manufacture new mounts, and electrical and mechanical connections for everything. assuming you have those skills, the car would be underpowered.
compare the size of the tiny metro with the small saturn. look in a junkyard for a 96-98 saturn engine which will bolt right in. note the donor vehicle must match the donee vehicle in engine a SOHC or DOHC.

I have an 1997 saturn

Sounds like a slipping clutch. The engine races but the car fails to respond quickly as if it is disconnected. The issue will be worse when trying to ascend hills. There is no easy fix, you need to renew the clutch disc.

How do you change a

Impossible as it has a hydraulic clutch, and no it cannot be adjusted. It has a small master cylinder and a slave cylinder, just like a brake system. If one of those has failed, you buy a pre-bled replacement for the whole little system and bolt it in.

Car won't start after raining

What you can do to diagnose this issue is - take an old spray bottle (some kind of house cleaning solution), clean it out really well (so nothing flammable is in it) and fill it with water. Then, pop the hood to your car, start the engine, and squirt different parts of your engine until you squirt an engine part that causes your car to shut off... then you know that's the problem part!
I had the same issue with my husband's car. We determined that it was the distributor cap, which we purchased at Auto Zone and replaced on our own for like $30.

97 Saturn sc1 engine lacks power after warming up.

Check to make sure that one of the pulleys are not sticking on your serpentine belt line, or better known as the belt drive. Such as an alternator that is that seizing up, or a bad power steering pump.

My '97 saturn had a hard time shifting gears going

Sounds like a faulty throttle position sensor TPS. This is located on the outside of throttle body on the end of the throttle shaft. If there is no proper feedback of throttle position the ECu is unable to maintain a stable throttle and this in turn makes the gear change very erratic. It has three electrical connections. The device internally consists, most usually, of a curved carbon track with an electrical connection at both ends and a rotary contact slider that moves to a point on the curved carbon track determined by the amount that the throttle is open. The curved carbon track has a resistance associated with it so the voltage that is returned by the throttle contact tells the ECU the throttle position. When the throttle is closed the voltage is low (0 to 0.49 volts) and when fully open it is high (5 volts) The three electrical connections consist of the contact points at each end of the track and the middle connection is the sliding throttle contact. OK check that the wires are all where they should be. Put a volt meter on the connections and record the voltages. When the voltmeter is on the middle pin the voltage should vary evenly as the throttle is opened and closed: use the accelerator lever cam or, if you have remove the air filter piping, you can use your fingers on the throttle flap. If the voltages are uneven replace the TPS

How do you take out an altanator for a 1997 saturn

Disconnect the battery. Take off the belt. You'll need to unbolt the 3 power steering bolts holding on the pump, you can get to them thru the holes in the pulleys. You'll need to jack up the passenger side and remove the wheel and inner fender well. That will give you room to get to the bolts, wire and plugs. You'll have to take it out thru the wheel well.
