Hello, It is really hard, if not impossible to diagnose a problem like this without seeing it in person especially with a description of only a few words. From my experiences this may be a bad engine or transmission mount or any part of the clutch adjustment. Is it manual or auto? If its auto then I would say its possible that its the mounts or the transmission itself is bad. Get back to me and I'll see if I can further assist you.

the radio won't power up, the clock (if it has one) won't light up.,. otherwise check the fuse box panel... (typically under the hood or near the driver's left side under the dash...)

Ok it sound like its your fuel pump but i would start with the fule pump fuse and filter first than if it still doing the same thing then change the pump.

YOUR 02 SENSOR UPSTREAM IS LOCATED ....IF YOU LOOK RIGHT BETWEEN THE VALVE COVER AND RADIATOR YOU WILL SEE A EXHAUST SHIELD THE HOLE IN THE MIDDLE WITH THE SENSOR COMING OUT WOULD BE YOUR UPSTREAM 02 GOOD LUCK

I own a 2001 Sephia LS..."The O.D. off" flashing with "check engine light" didn't have a thing to do with an engine problem...it was simply a bad connection in one of the 3 plugs that plug into the back of the instrument cluster!! I removed the cluster, pulled the 3 plugs, cleaned them and put it all back together...No problems since. By the way...mine has 112,000 miles on it

check the alternator ,the diode rectifier pack could a have doide gone and its backfeeding to earth ,take the wires off the alternator and leave overnight to see if it goes flat

You shouldn't clean the mass airflow sensor. They are easily damaged. If you didn't have a problem before you cleaned it, then is will provably have to be replace.

it could be the washer motor, it is realy easy to test it you just have to unplug the harnes of the washer motor and take a pice of wire long enough to get to te battery and put the wires from the battery to the motor if it does work then you may have a bad washer fuse or switch, if it dosn´t do nothing then is the motor, you can get ir out of a junk yard for arround 5 dollars, hope this hepls.

Usually they have a picture on the box or package when you buy them. I take it your belt broke off while you was driving it.

you are low on coolant fil and check for leaks

Had a similar problem in a different type of vehicle. It turned out that my coolant level in my radiator etc was too low to supply hot fluid to the heater core. Check your coolant level see if that's it. If your thermostat was malfunctioning your car would be running too cool or too hot. Check the engine temp gauge if you have one; but this is a very unlikely source for your problem. If your coolant is low be on the lookout for leaks in the engine cooling system after the system pressurizes(reaches normal operating temperature).

yes you do need the work doing ,new head gasket and at least 3/6 valves bent
