FIRST YOU MUST MAKE SURE THAT YOUR CLUTCH CYLINDER IS PUSHING YOUR PRESSURE PLATE ON THE TRANSMISSION... OR IT WILL SEEM LIKE YOUR CLUTCH IS WORN OUT WHEN ITS NOT. THEN REMOVE THE TRANSMISSION AND REPLACE THE CLUTCH.. YOU WILL NEED THE PLASTIC CLUTCH INSTALLATION GUIDE TO SET THE CLUTCH AND HAVE IT HOLD IN PLACE AS YOU PUT THE TRANSMISSION IN... IF YOU DONT HAVE A SECOND PERSON TO HELP YOU.. IT IS SAFER TO PAY A MECHANIC TO DO THE WORK VERSUS YOU GETTING HURT.. SOME MECHANICS JUST CHARGE 150 TO REPLACE AND CLUTCH COST THE SAME OR LESS. Hi George:If the "Check Engine" light came on soon after a fill-up at a gas
station, check if your gas cap is closed properly. If the gas cap wasn't
on tight, this could be the problem. Secure the gas cap properly and if
there is no other problems, the "Check Engine" light should clear
itself out in a few days of driving. If the gas cap was tight, there is
some other problem. Have your car computer scanned to see what is wrong.
It could be some minor problem, but it also could be something more
serious that can cause more damage to your vehicle if not repaired in
time. Some garages or parts stores often offer to scan your computer
for free. Others will charge you a diagnostic fee. If your car is fairly
new, I'd advise to visit your dealer for this, because it's possible
that the problem is still covered by the original warranty and can be
repaired for free or a minimum charge. Check your owner's manual for
more details.Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and
I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some
testimonial comment about this answer.Thank you for using FixYa, have a nice day.
Below are some pictures for you. Make sure the "E" and the "I" are lines up correctly on the cylinder head and ALWAYS rotate the engine at least to revolutions to double check that you marks are correct. Have had bad luck with MANY kia's being off even after I checked it and found that they were off after I put everything together. Kia's for some reason will be off so that's why I would double check. That's just my experience I have had with them. Hope this helps....
So basically the circle is the cap to you radiator, it is located to the left of your battery directly behind the front bumper. it it long and rectangular. hope this helps.
Is the engine light on, are there any DTC codes? replace the air filter and have the injectors/carbon cleaning done that would help a great deal. Also make sure there are no vacume leaks.
Do you mean Throw-Out baring? If so, that is part of the clutch system. If you are talking about a different bearing we need clarification as to which one.
The fan is powered by multiple control points. The first thing to check is fuse for cooling fans. If fuse is good then check the fan relay(s). After making sure those 2 items are good then check temperature sensor on the engine. Those are the main items that control cooling fans. Some vehicles are also controlled through the ECM.
