You basically answered your question, there's no power getting to the pump when the factory harness is connected, so check the fuse for the fuel pump and also the fuel pump relay this could be the cause if there was a short in the wiring it would surely blow the fuse. As for the hose problem, are the hoses colapsing when running, if so its a air pocket or possablly a stuck open or closed thermostat.
I have a 1990 prelude
if the injectors are not working i would replace them ... all that holds them in is a rubber oring.
Hi there, i want to know is the honda
very similar can definetly bolt in there were some differences in the water temp sensor and the speedo sensor but it can work as a parts or swap engine

If you like the car, Which I am sure it will get great gas mileage, Then spend the money. Carbs or easy to replace. I bet if you go and buy a manual for it you could do it yourself. With a cheap set of metric tools.
Replace rear left brake caliper
Remove the two bolts holding on the caliper. Remove the caliper. Unscrew the brake line counter clockwise. Now your caliper should be ready for removal.
What kind of oil should I use for 1990 honda
Look on the dip stick itself, the original owners manual or perhaps in the engine compartment you may also find something on one of the numerous stickers there.
FYI: recently I bought oil from a well known auto parts store for a 1992 truck and they did NOT provide the correct information, I found it on the sticker for the engine oil and written on the dip stick for the transmission oil...

If you overheated it, and then drove it long enough that the engine died, Your engine hay have a bad head gasket, or the engine is now bad. .fill up the coolant in the radiator (water) leave the cap off, and try to crank the engine up, if it tries to push the water out, the engine is bad. A bad thermostat isnt going to keep it from running, although it may be bad also.
Were the timing mark are
Timing marks are located between the engine and tranny. There is a small opening, on the front of the tranny, at the bell housing where the timming marks are visible. It might have a rubber plug, in that opening, that pulls out for viewing the marks.
