My 2001 Honda accord stalls when putting it into gear auto transmission
3 things to remember, fuel, air flow, and spark. Check your air filter, is it dirty? Smack it on the ground,if it makes a cloud of dust, chances are you are getting close. When you put your car into "GEAR" it means putting stress on the engine, therefore, if fuel is not getting from point "A" to point "B", "A" being the fuel tank, (where you fill the tank, and costs LOTS of $$$) to" B" where the fuel is consumed, chances are, there is an obstruction in the fuel line... NOW, let's get to "spark", does the vehicle "shudder" or "rattle" when you put it into gear? Do your research on spark plugs B4 U BUY! Sometimes paying more is NOT a better product. I AM NOT A MECHANIC, I only know from my own experience, hope this helps you out, I DO know these things can be QUITE expensive. G.K.
