How do you remove the roll pin from the pinion

the best way is to rotate the shaft until you can get a small punch on the rool pin and hit it with a hammer to drive the roll pin out.

My 1997 grand caravan hesitates

When was the last time the throttle body and AIS motor were cleaned? This sounds like an idle control problem more-so than a turning left or right scenario.

Possibly a vacuum leak in the power stearing? Might be way off, but friend of mine had the same problem in a 98 Neon, didnt know how to fix it, but after he sold it the guy fixed it in 30 min. Check for any leaks since its only doing it while you're turning??

Could bet Cam Sensor.

Hazard lights and turn signals not working

Sounds like the flasher relay switch. It is probably on the back side of the fuse box, or a separate thing, on the steering colum under the dash. But it is attatched to the wires comming out of the colum. Or could be a fuse, or the switch. However if it was turn switch the hazards shoud work.

What type of freon for

the freon type should be a decal under the hood somewhere if its not missing as well as the amount of freon required.if no decal then if the fittings for the hose that attaches to the a/c lines are threaded then this will take R12 freon.if the fittings don`t have threading(like quick release fittings) on them then it will take R134 freon.

1997 plymouth grand voyager runs

First thing i would try is to carry a can of WD-40 or quick start with me and when it quits and won't start, remove air intake hose at throttle body opening, open throttle enough to give a good spray inside throttle body, release throttle, then try to start it . If it starts and runs momentarily, you have a fuel delivery problem. If not you have an ignition problem. Then you can start troubleshooting from there.
Or you can carry something to test for spark. I just find this way easier. Don't know when/if fuel pump has ever been replaced, but not uncommon for them to work when cool and quit pumping when they get warmed up, even though they sound like they are still working. That's where a fuel pressure test would also confirm, keeping in mind pressure may read good when first started but will drop later when warmed up and engine quits.
