I would start by doing a tune up; replace the spark plugs and wires, change the oil/oil filter, and the fuel filter. All this should be fairly inexpensive if done yourself. If this does not solve the problem take it to a mechanic to see if he can diagnose it.

MAZDA MPV 2002 LJ102 - Drivers side door lock
The only place you are going to find those parts is at the dealer or a salvage yard. The dealer may even be able to get just the clip, but sometimes (especially with Mazda) you will have to buy the complete door latch assembly.
The origional problem was the vehicle was
buy new spark plug and replace it all first.
Is it possible also that the plugs are not seating properly inthe head
If the threads in the cylinder head are damaged they shouldbe rethreaded with an appropriate tap, it's possible that the affected sparkplugs are not seating in all the way into the head because of thread damage andthen work their way loose, a properly tightened and seated spark plug will notunseat or loosen, if the threads are ok, make sure all spark plugs seat all theway and compress the sealing gasket, you can torque them to about 16ft/lbs.

You might access the Engine Control Module (ECM) using diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector of the car, in order to pull out all Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) memored. Also through "parameters measurements" menu check the upstream & downstream oxygen sensors voltage values - for bank1 & bank2 of V6 engine. For upstream oxygen sensors you should have a permanent fluctuation of voltage between 0,1 Volts and 0,9 Volts. For downstream oxygen sensors you should have a constant voltage value around 0,4 Volts. I suspect bad upstream oxygen sensor(s), but obligatory scan first the ECM memory and check oxygen sensors voltage!

Yes it does, if you hook that back up you should be back to having a nice bright light. That is one of the first things that I check before replacing a headlight is making sure the ground is still installed.
