Loss of power, usually after a hard acceleration; Rough idle; Check engine light comes on, DTC P1211:
Intermittent high pressure oil leakage.
This condition usually occurs when the vehicle is cold and the oil is thick. When performing a hard acceleration, the truck suddenly looses power, the check engine light comes on, and once returning to idle the engine runs rough and won't accelerate. Cycling the key may correct the concern, clearing the code from the PCM will correct it temporarily. If you can monitor data stream, at idle the ICP pressure normally is 400-700 PSI and the IPR duty cycle is 9-14%; at cruise, ICP is 700-1200 pSI and IPR is 15-20%; under normal acceleration, ICP is 1200-2000 PSI and IPR is 20-30%; and under WOT accel, the ICP is up to 3600 PSI and the IPR is 35% or higher. When the above symptom occurs, typically the idle ICP reading will be normal, but the IPR duty cycle will be high--over 20% and up to the max 50%. A "blow-by" condition has occured somewhere in the HP oil circuit. If you can get the problem to re-occur with some frequency, the most probable cause is worn or deteriorated injector or IPR o-rings. If the problem is intermittent, it could be a sticking IPR valve. Replace the injector o-rings with the latest-level kits--F8TZ-9229-AA. When replacing the IPR, make sure you get the correct part for the build date/serial number of your engine.

jack up truck and remove tires.there are 2 bolts that hold the brake caliper on when you remove the caliper the rotors will come right off

have cooling system flushed and clean outside of radiator,get a new thermostat that opens earlier,like 105 degrees instead of 112 degrees.

then if theres power to harness at back of truck its the harness on trailer or wireing on trailer

• The fuel pump relay is in a junction box under the hood. The junction box you are looking for is the one closest of the two to the fender and of the three relays in there the relay closest to the fender is the fuel pump relay.

• Also, here is a diagram of the fuel pump fuse. #40 - 20 Amp fuse.

• Also make sure to check to see if the fuel pump shut off switch.

You ran the truck out of oil? If so then you have seized the engine up and it wont start again. If your lucky the engine could be rebuilt using the same block but the internals will all need to be replaced.

possible fuel pump or ground on fuel pump or fuse for pump take the gas line off at the intake see if its pumping with the cranking action

The fuel pump module is above the spare tire , Ive seen those go bad a lot. Assuming it's not a heritage, take the tire down, they corrode away. About 60 bucks

It sounds like a problem with your torque converter, in your transmission, the lock up is kicking in. I would suggest adding some trans ex , or lacquer thinner, then keep trying it. Good luck

Got Pulled over last night for no Taillights Diesel Forum TheDieselStop com like that forum states, under hood or under dash & don't forget to rule out that the double filament bulbs are good (some models have one wire in that bulb as parking lights)

There's no enable switch as far as I know, it should light up in any gear position when you hit the button. I'm guessing there's a problem with the wires going to the switch, probably broken somewhere in the column and make contact in certain positions. You may have to pull the ignition lock to get the cover off. If I recall that model right-remove lower cover, there's a little hole in the lock body with a small steel pin in it, turn key to ON and press the pin in with something and the lock will slide out. When you reinsert the lock just turn to off and the pin will reset itself to the locked position. You'll have it apart for a while with the ignition on so you probably probably want to disconnect the battery. starter solenoid .stuck possibily due to low voltage.

This is the Output shaft speed sensor. It is located on the tail of the transmission housing on 4x4 units.

check the vac. hoses

get your self a good work shop manual as will list all you should need , try an online search as will be one on ebay or some where

do you hear any rattling from the exhaust? I had a car that did this and it was the insides of the cat converter breaking apart and blocking the exhaust system. one time you hit the gas and it ran normal the next time no power and gas milage was worse than normal.

There isn't a fuse dedicated to just license plate/taillights...Fuses # 17, #18 and #27 power all lights, flasher and multifunction switch...Lets eliminate...Tell me what lights do work and I'll narrow down the fault...In the meantime, if you have a multimeter, set it to X10 ohms scale...Connect one lead to the CENTER of the negative battery post...Using a piece of 10 gauge wire, extend the other lead to the rear of the truck and hold it to bare metal chassis ground...Record reading...Must be very near zero ohms or dead short...Working trucks that are 8 years old have trouble with ground straps corroding or rusting through...Guru...saailer I’m happy to help further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/david_6df67de3b14de867
