If you have no power to the fuse then this car incorprates a fusable link in between the battery and the fuse box. You going to have to open the harness to find it. You may need an ohm meter to determine which one is the one for the heater.

Or you can just add a wire from the postive battery post to the fuse. Be sure to put it on the correct side. This side will be the opposite side as the one that turns on the blower. Turn key on, turn blower on. Touch power to both sides of the fuse. If the fan turns on hook wire to the side that doesn't turn the fan on with the fuse removed, Then plug fuse back in. If you hook to the wrong side the wire will burn instead of the fuse popping if you have short inbetween this point and the blower fan.

Before you take your car to a transmission shop, first check the transmission fluid level (engine running, warm, in park, on level ground). Add fluid if necessary. Second, look for a loose shift linkage or some kind of loose hose connection. If these don't fix the problem, I am afraid you might be SOL.

- Fuel Pump Strainer / Clogged or Dirty Fuel Pump Strainerat.
- Carburetor / Worn, Faulty or Damaged Carburetor
- Wireset / Worn or Damaged Spark Plug Wires.
- Coil -Ignition- / Faulty Ignition Coil
- Distributor Cap / Loose, Cracked or Worn Distributor Cap.
- Spark Plug / Incorrectly Gapped or Fouled Spark Plug(s)
- Distributor Cap and Rotor Kit / Loose, Cracked or Worn Distributor Cap.

Remember that the Firing Order:
- All engines except CA16DE and CA18DE Engine Firing Order: 1-3-4-2 Distributor Rotation: Counterclockwise
- CA16DE and CA18DE engines Engine Firing Order: 1-3-4-2 Distributorless Ignition

since your car is matic, its good that you noted the color of the a/t oil. it means that the oil is still circulating. the problem may be with the solenoid switches for the gears, it could be that these switches are stuck up that the a/t oil pressure doesn't kick it in or they're burned out. try replacing the switches.

maybe the spark plugs are burned out.

Hello,the next step is,you must take out one of the spark plug,after removing it then connect it to the spark plug lead.Now you must lay the spark plug against the cylinder head ,hold the spark plug by the spark plug cap.By then you must get some one to start the engine,and you standing in front of the bonnet,you must see between the gap of the spark plug,if it gives a good spark.How will you know if it gives a good spark?I will tell,if the spark is blue now you know it is good,the engine should start if it get fuel,the mixture will burn well,but if the spark is well yellow,the engine will never start,that means you must change the spark plug.Hope that help you.

fuse #6 beside the steering coloum is a 10 amp fuse, Its for the taillights and side markers. It may have a hairline crack in it. Look closely.

if you are putting an after marker stereo the wiring is different from a stock radio some audio stores sell adapters for after market stereos that you jus clip on to stock wiring

Could be a clogged injector or all clogged injector or clogged Fuel filter

Make sure if you remove any sensor cables. Just go back and verify every thing you done, may be you left some thing. let me know

the tripod has a c clip lock on it once off you should be able to silde new booth over that end of the shaft

have you tried changing your rotor and distributor cap? and checked the wires for breakage or leakage?

Is this a automatic? or standard? if it is a automatic it could be a shift solenoid but need to know more information to help you please post here so that I can help you more with more information.

We wouldn't be able to type the whole procedure in here. You would be better off to get a haynes repair manual for that car, it has a step by step procedure, costs about $16.00 to $17.00 at an auto parts store.

how do u know its 2nd gear, has the cable snapped that controls the gear change.
if not try tensioning it, if no joy another transmission

If second gear stuck it need rebuilt ore replaced.
check what labor to rip one out replace a junk yard one ore check see what cost rebuilt it.
stay away form amco there rip off artist.
Your cost about 900 to 1000/.
if you do your self 600 for junk yard one and few hundread if you can get rebuild kit rebuild the trasmission your self.
I took trans rebuilt i rather buy used ore pay some rebuild it.

Hmmmm I wonder if you are aware that alternators have power rating?

Be sure that the alternator rating is not the same with that of your battery. If alternator is 60Amps then Battery should be 75Amps.

Check both battery and alternator.
