How do i fix a ticking noise in a 3800 motor

Its your valves that are making those ticks, check the level of your oil and add if necessary, if this does not help you will need to get a valve job done and possibly a complete top engine rebuild. You can eliminate some of this noise by additives that will give your oil stability and the engine some extra time. Check with your local parts store or mechanics shop

I have a bearing noise on start up, goes away within 20 seconds when idling down.

You may have an internal bearing issue, which will be less apparent once the oil pressure builds, after the first few seconds of running. Typically this is a camshaft bearing issue, but I'm sorry, I can't be certain without inspecting the vehicle.

1998 buick lesabre refuses to start or turnover until it sits awhile

Sounds like the starter to me(I assumed you meant won't crank when hot).I have replaced only 1 starter(on my neighbor's Taurus)in the 15 years after quitting the GM dealer tech job 15 years ago.I probably could make a career just changing GM starters and alternators.(I only have Mopars in my driveway!)

Battery or alternator

Yes it can be your Alternator going. It may not be putting out enough power to meet what the car calls for. Your car only starts on th battery and runs off the alternator after running. You can check it out with a volt mter to see if it drops or not. With your car running check to see if it drops when you ut the lighs on and also put your heater fan on, wipers too. If it falls below 13.8 volts then it is getting weak and will need to be replaced.

I can't find the second bolt on the starter for my 98 buick lesabre

Remove the plate, then remove all the screws on the silver plate that is behind the license plate itself. There should be 4 other screws to remove. Once you have done this, open your trunk and partially remove the carpet behind the trunk etc--------------------------------------------------------------------------Car Key Programmer

The blower motor was working and then only low speed now not at all. is there a resister in the electrical to the blower motor

Yes. On most models high speed bypasses the resistor, so you could have a faulty blower motor. You would need to check for voltage and ground at the motor first.

Tail lights dont turn on

1. Replace your car tail light. You will need working gloves to protect your hand during the process. Of course you will also need a screwdriver, cleaning cloth, wire brush, and a good set of tail light bulbs.2.Understand that different models of car have different set of tail light covers. Naturally, these covers will require different un-installation procedures. So, determine if you can dismount the cover from the outside or you will have to dismount it from the trunk of the car.3.Determine how to dismount the tail light cover, carefully detach it from the car. You can use different sets of screwdrivers for this. Be careful not to break the tail lights cover. The important thing is you must be able to expose the bulb in order to extract it.4.Remove the tail lights cover, unscrew the bulb from its socket. Sometimes you will have to press a little and twist the bulb in order to extract it from the socket.5.Extract the bulb, bring it to your favorite auto parts and accessories store and find the exact match of your tail light bulb. Be sure to get the correct match because if you use other types of bulb, your tail lights may not work properly.6.Reinstall the tail light bulb, clean the aluminum casing of the tail light. Wipe the socket and wiring with a dry cloth. You can use wire brush if there are corrosion around the tail light casing.7.Put the good bulb on the socket. You might still need to apply a little pressure on the socket before you can install it fully.8.Reinstall the tail light bulb, replace the cover of the tail lights and secure it tightly.9.Test to make sure your new tail lights are working. Start the engine and apply the brakes. You can ask someone to see if the tail lights are really working.resource: http://www.wikihow.com/Fix-Car-Tail-Lights

Radiator overflow container always empty

better change out your Plenium (Intake) before it ruins your engine ! Part is about $125.00 and comes with gaskets and a new Intake and new EGR Tube you replace also, what it is doing is leaking internally and burning it, it will eventually start to miss and quit on you Hydrolocking the engine. water does not compress in cylinders. If you are lucky you won't have to do lower intake gaskets or head gaskets......But get it fixed before too LATE !
