Where is the fuse located in 1998 buick lesabre to bypass security light/system

If you mean the anti-theft PASS system, it does not work that way.You have to have power to the module, and it has to get the right signal from the key chip to start the engine.Otherwise a car thief could start the car.

98 buick heater stop working

Its faulty blower motor resistor. The low and medium speed on blower motor is controlled by resistor and its actual speed is high. So because resistor is not working, blower motors actual speed which is high is working.

It can be faulty blower motor or faulty blower motor resistor. Get the blower motor inspected. If it's faulty it has to be replaced.

Window went down but will not go back up

You may have a faulty activation switch(your up/down),or youcould have a fried drive motor . the drive motor and windowcrank assembly are in side the door. I'm pretty handy and replaced my crank assembly with a used unit including motor, from a wrecker, in about 2 hours. alternative, find a good mech-anic.

Grand marquis jerks in all gears 85.000 miles

It could be the converter is going bad or a sensor.next time you are driving it and it is jerking put your foot on the brake pedal, dont put the brakes on like you are trying to stop just push lightly on the pedal. This unlockes the converter.if it stops jerking you have a bad converter or a sensor related to it.

Engine hesitates,no pressure release when gas cap removed on a 98 buick lesabre

Not sure how long ago you had the top half of the engine rebuilt and not sure if this is a new problem and the vehicle ran fine after the top end was done (thinking it was fine then). I have found a number of times that the throttle plate gets carbon deposits on it to where it doesn't close in the proper spot. This throttle body happens to have a screen in it so many people don't physically clean the deposits off and just spray cleaner in there to clean it. Below is a picture of that screen in the throttle body and I marked with a red arrow a snap ring that needs to be removed and that screen comes right out. Spray that throttle plate real well with throttle body cleaner and even manually open it so you get both sides. I even use a soft tooth brush and a rag with throttle body cleaner. Get the trottle plate and the inside of the throttle body including the little ledges that kind of stop the trottle body (you will feel a "lip" in there). After you get it all back together, disconnect the negative battery terminal for about 10 minutes and then start the car. It's gonna be a hard start at first and rev it a few times to blow the cleaner out and then just let it idle for about 5 to 10 minutes. Then maybe drive it for a few miles. Disconnecting the battery cleared how your vehicles computer (PCM) where it thought its idle was set and now is going to teach itself the best idle position. It still going to take about 25 miles and some driving time to totally learn but I think this should help clear it up. Another thing but you will need the proper scanner or somebody who can do it for you and it is called a crankshaft position system variation learn procedure. Hope this helps...2_18_2013_4_56_13_am.jpg

Turn Signals won't come on at all.

It most likely is the turn signal flasher. They are usually tucked somewhere under the dash. Listening to the 4way flasher may give you an idea as to its location. Also feel for the clicking of the 4 way flasher the turn signal flasher is usually near it.

98 lesabre heat on passenger side when a/c is on

This is a common gm problem caused by low or no battery voltage (disconnected battery, battery replacement, low or bad battery, corrosion at terminals etc). Go ahead and set the scan tool to erase all codes even if one isn't showing on your tool. This will resolve 99 percent of this type issue. Hvac controller has logic board and loses memory with low/no voltage. It will not work properly till the code is cleared.

Can a radiator leak make your car smoke white

I have never had a radiator leak cause white smoke. if youre leak is coming off youre radiator then needs to be fixed by a shop or a do it youre self job. the white smoke on the other hand can be cuased by three mian things! one, you have head gasket that is leaking internaly, check by pulling youre spark plugs one at a time to find a clean on, if you find one youre head gasket is allowing coolent into the cylender which means you need new head gaskets and have youre heads inspected to make sure there not worped #two, youre valve guide seals are wore out and they are allowing oil to seap into the cylinder thus you are burning oil and the third cuase for white smoke could be that youre engine is running rich by the fuel mixture being off. but with the car you have i would check yhr first two! i hope this helps.
