2006 Chevrolet Uplander - Page 2 Questions & Answers
I ran my 2006 chevy
after putting some gas in your tank, step on the gas pedal repeatedly (step to it fully), then while pressing, start your car. the fuel was completely drained from your system thus there are no fuel to burn in able for your car to start.
pressing the gas pedal repeatedly (around 10 times will do) will put some fuel in your combustion chamber, so the car will now have something to burn if you will start the car
2008 Uplander, where is
Doesn't have a flasher , the BCM - body control module turns the turn signals on an off .
Turn Signal Lamps
The STOP/TURN fuse in the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block supplies battery positive voltage to the body control module (BCM) for the turn signal lamps. When the turn switch is placed in the left or right position, ground is applied to the BCM on the left or right turn signal switch signal circuit. The BCM then applies voltage to the appropriate front and rear supply voltage circuits.
Grounds for the various lamps are as follows:
• G100 supplies the right front lamps
• G101 supplies the left front lamps
• G400 supplies the right rear lamps
• G401 supplies the left rear lamps
I need a stereo wiring diagram for an 06 chevy uplander. Can anyone help?
About all I can help with is voltage and ground. The voltage is fuse protected, check the fuse and voltage on fuse circuit. If you think problem with ground, try a redundant ground. The text below is a little small, hope you can read it? bbbind.com should have your wiring diagram for radio. It's free.
2007 Chevy Uplander Rear Overhead A/C Vents Won't Work
Have you checked the Aux switch near the bottom of the center control console.
There should be a knob with: Aux, Off, 1, 2, 3. This is the switch for the rear AC blower.
If the driver wants to control the rear AC, use the 1, 2, 3 settings.
If you put it on Aux, Than the rear AC is controlled by the passenger in the back seat using the extra controls located on the Overhead DVD player. (The front AC must be on the rear to work)
Where is the fusible link located on a 2006 chev uplander with a 3.5l
From what I can see, you only have one fusible link, and it starts at the under hood fuse block, is shown as gray with white stripe, and it turns into a red/black wire carrying power to the instrument panel fuse block.
It probably originates at where the battery cable red wire connects to the under hood fuse block.
2006 uplander cooling system diagram
Is your coolant boiling over? How hot does the engine get in degrees F? Not counting the temp gage, any signs of overheating? Sometimes when you open the cooling system, you get air in the system that can effect temp gage. You could use a non-contact infrared temp gun on the engine, then compare reading to temp gage. The readings should be close. When it is overheating, are the radiator fan/s on?
Can you check coolant flow through the radiator? I haven't checked to see if you have radiator cap? Sometimes on a cool engine, I remove the thermostat, hook everything up, make sure coolant is full. The coolant flow is instant when you crank or start it because you don't have to wait for engine to warm-up, no thermostat.
How to tighten the brakes on 2006 uplander
brake pads indicate disc brakes---I am not aware of any adjustments for disc brakes---you say loose---what's loose--the pads may rattle after they been worn a bit but there's usually spring keepers on the pads to keep them from making noise--unless you have underlying issues that were not evident before showing up--need more info---this is like trying to cut hair over the telephone
