What can be the problem on my 2001 Buick LeSabre, 3 window dont work at all, only the drive window works. the regulator are good on all 3 it seems like it has something to do with the wires because th

check the wires that run from the door to the body of the car as there may be a broken wire that feeds the other switches from the drivers door switch as the other switches are powered from the drivers switch.

Where is the ac unit on 2001 lasabre custom?

Where is the leak on the radiator? (front, side, top, bottom...) My guess is that it might have also caused a leak in the condenser, or the lines going to the condenser. The lines are connected on the right side of the condenser, which is mounted right in front of the radiator.

Bad gas millage

Some depends on what kind of tires you have and air pressure. The traction rating of a tire mean how soft it is and how well it grabs the road, so a all season that has a high traction will use more gas, it also follows the line of tread wear, the more a tire can handle tread wear means the harder it is and doesn't wear like a soft tire. So depending on where you live and what you have for conditions, you could go with a tire that will give you better gas mileage.Next you want to use a very good fuel injector cleaner like redline or lucas, and you want use it around every 6000.The injectors function to mist fuel is a important for combustion.About that time I would clean the air filter. You can also see what oil is recommended, go with a thinner grade in a synthetic blend for older car. If you want to get real picky. But synthetic oil needs to be changed less and is the best oil there is for wear.New spark plugs, Bosch Platinum plus if they have one for your engine. Last, you can get a front end alignment, if your on a flat road and the car doesn't stay totally straight, that is added drag from tires.

My driver's side window won't go down. When I push the switch up or down I hear the relay click, so that tells me the switch and relay are working. There is no hum or grinding noise like the motor is

When my lesabre did that I found that it was a bound up regulator wire the first time and a broken wire the second time. Probably will have to take door panel off and replace the regulator. Not a difficult job but due to poor regulator design it happens frequently. Good Luck! I have installed a total of 4 in the last 4 years on my lesabre (2002 model). Surprisingly, it was due to bad motor only once. - gary

How to install a serpentine belt on 2001 buick lesabre?

The Serpentine belt or as the books call it the drive belt is located at the front of the engine. I promise you, getting it off is easier than getting it back on! That was your fair warning. You will need a 1/2" drive wratchet or breaker bar to move the tensioner pulley. Rotate the tensioner counter clockwise to release the belt tension. The tensioner will swing down once the tension is released. Remove the belt from the auxlliary components and carefully release the tensioner. NOTE: The tensioner should be fairly stiff and if not released carefully can cause you or your vehicle to feel pain! The pulley on the tensioner should be checked to insure it is rotating smoothly and freely. Some folks replace them everytime they replace the belt, others do it by miles. Your 2001 is 14 years old, it probably has had most of the other parts replaced already and you should consider replacing the tensioner while you are here. If your model has an engine mount at the front, it may be necessary to remove it. FIRST support the engine securely then remove the engine mount. Do not place you jack under the oil pan withoout at least a board between the jack and pan to spread out the weight or you may punch a hole in the pan. Then run the new belt over the pulleys in the same way that the old belt was run. Taking a couple of pictures or making a drawing is a good idea. Most vehicles came from the factory with a drawing on a label under the hood, but if yours is missing you will need to know where it goes in order to keep things turning in the correct direction. You may need to work from both above the fender and below the car to get the belt on correctly. A helper can make the job a lot easier and faster. Good luck and watch your knuckles!
