...is called the blend door, you either have a sticking blend door or the actuator motor for the door is defective and does not completely shut off the heater core. The pass side has it's own blend

blend door is bad and on which side it is thats bad. The heat only comes out the vents no matter what setting I switch it to. No defrost no heat on floor. and this is on both driver and passenger side

blend door actuator, (black odd shaped box with metal "ring"). Remove the box and manually rotate the blend door shaft it was attached to clockwise. If you get cold air, it's the actuator you removed.
