wondering what became of this problem, i just experienced this same thing todaywent to check oil and noticed the dipstick was sitting in a different spot, went to move it over and it was quite loose, so pulled up and the stick and housing came with it

Your cruise won't engage because your brake lights are on permanently.These are on permanently probably because your brake switch is faulty.It's located near the top of your brake pedal.

I would have it checked to make sure no error codes and then suggest only having the IAC it uses checked or serviced-----Idle air control exists in many drive by wire vehicles--have a physical throttle and or cruise control cable-----the start is Google this year model with IAC symptoms.They get dirty or fail and all sorts of idle issues are possible

A mechanic would check for voltage at the starter, the neutral safety switch, and the key switch.

once it gets hot i will read a little less than the coolant temp as the trans cooler runs threw the raid

I guess you doing rear drum brakes? if so there is a tool available to hold the spring in place while changing the shoes. if tool isn't available, you will need a good pair of pliers and a long screwdriver to pry with to push the spring in place. GOOD LUCK! BE SURE TO WEAR EYE PROTECTION!

well very good possiblity it needs a tune up . Take it some where and have them check the codes on it and go from there
