I suggest scanned the PCM and ABS modules to know exactly what fault code is stored there; generrally, when ABS and TRAC warning lights turn on, means some problem in the speed wheel sensors, but we will need what specific codes is there to send you additional details in order to solve it.Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.Thank you for using FixYa, have a nice day.

Use a DMM and check for voltage starting at the ("bell") then work your way back till you find an open in the circuit.....(no voltage)..... and from there you can fix it. Im still curious why you would need a bell to let you know your backing up?

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern: Some customers my comment of a Service Park Assist Message on the DIC and/or the LED indicators at the right rear pillar staying on or inoperative. This concern could be caused by the wiring harness to the LED indicators being pinched under a ground eyelet at the right rear pillar, as shown below.


other issues could be the problem such as poor connections at each sensor or damaged sensors. to clear URPA codes,place ignition in run,(engine OFF),shift into reverse and turn key OFF.place shift lever into park and retest operation of URPA. if still inop URPA code(s) need to be retrieved before further diagnosis can be accurately done.

be sure to check underhood fuse block fuses as well as IPC fuse block,LH side. there is a common fuse for both of the power port/lighter asm.

After you read this, tell everyone you know, not to disconnect the battery on late model vehicles, without first inserting a low voltage device into the cigarette lighter socket. Otherwise they will accomplish what you did. Killed the car!!!

What you inadvertantly did was arm the anti-theft system. I dont like being the bearer of bad news, so call your favorite GM dealer and they will tell you all about what it will take to bring your truck back to life.

Hello: Do not go by the pressure printed on the tires. On the drivers door frame or door sill there is a white tag that gives the recommended tire pressure for the truck. If tire(s) are over inflated or under inflated the light will come on........ Once you get the proper pressure in the tires and drive it the light should go out. If when the new tires were installed they didn't put the wheels back in the same position the the location of each wheel will have to be reprogrammed into the system.

u need to have the codes pulled but most likely if the sierra is still running ok it is a oxygen sensor problem

I believe you turn the ignition to the on position (engine not running)and fully depress the gas pedal to the floor 5 times within 10 seconds. Sometimes you have to start the procedure over if it doesn't work the first time. Make sure you smoothly press the pedal all the way down and come all the way up each time. You should then hear a audible ding letting you know it reset.

need to replace its o2 sensor...

When you replace spark plug look at the gap is it worn(just compare it to a new on)now is this noise at idle or are you acclerating at idle its a lifter noise.If its at acceleration then time for spark plugs fuel filter.Remeber to use the proper weight on it.Dont listen to someone that says you can use a thicker oil. Make sure the oil you use has not been strip of zinc which API has removed and allot of premature engine failure are occuring. Use mobil stay away from penzoil they have no anti wear additives engine are wearing out quickly.

check for power to the brake assembly. the socket board in high mounts are prone to have problems. if you have power to the socket board then it needs replaced.
