Check engine light on

Take your car to a place like Autozone or parts store that will do a Free hand held diagnostic check for you, read the code and print out what it means, I am not sure what you mean by tighten gas cap, some cars check engine lights will come on for gas cap pressure, maybe you need a new one? thanks and take care.

Factory comand start quit working

If your check engine light is on after you start the vehicle you have a problem and the on board diagnostics are letting you know this with the light. This will lock out any accessory or remote start functions. Need to have OBDII scanned for codes

I am doing an engine swap and need accurate fuel

You have to use the fuel pump that goes with the 5.3. The 2.2 runs around 40lb of pressure and the 5.3 runs around 60lbs. The 2.2 wont even get close to that pressure.

How much quarts of oil do i put in my gmc sierra

the oil capacity would be as follows :
2007 gmc sierra 1500 series with :
4.3 L with oil filter = 4.5 quarts
4.8 L with oil filter = 6.0 quarts
5.3 L with oil filter = 6.0 quarts
6.0 L with oil filter = 6.0 quarts
6.6 L with oil filter = 10.0 quarts

Changed engin oil but change engine oil message is

there is a reset button that you have to do after changing the oil not sure of location but should be in your book or call auto zone they may be able to tell you the location.

Changing a dead battery?

Loosen the clamps on the battery and remove. Replace with new battery of the same type and place the clamps back on making sure that positive(red) is on the positive connector and negative(black) with the negative connector. Or go to autozone, they will do it for you:)

How to replace headlight assembly on a 2007 gmc

try t
  1. Remove the radiator grille. Refer to Radiator Grille Replacement.
  2. Loosen only, do not remove, the lower outside hidden headlamp bolt (2).
  3. Pull the lamp assembly slightly forward to access the electrical connection.
  4. Disconnect the forward lamp harness main electrical connector from the headlamp harness.

Headlamp Screws (Qty: 2)
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 6 N·m (53 lb in)

Headlamp Screw (Hidden)
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 6 N·m (53 lb in)

Headlamp Housing Support
Tip
Depress the housing support tab with a flat-bladed tool downward in order to release the headlamp assembly from the support.

I have the same problem. Seems when it is dry outside, the radio works pretty good but when the humidity is up, speakers dont work and sounds like treble in the other speakers.
