I found my original instruction booklet for the New Home Knitlock Model 743 743D after being misplaced for many years. It is very old and tatty. I still have the overlocker stored somewhere as I replaced it with a new overlocker. I am hoping to sell the overlocker with instruction booklet when I get round to having the machine serviced. Please let me know if you still need a copy of the manual.

Try the place that you bought it. They may have the supplier / manufacturer information of where you can get parts from.

According to this web site, it says the machine will sew everything "untill jeans" (sic). By that, I assume it means fabric lighter weight than jean fabric will work on this machine.
