I have a Tefal Pro express iron and I have water

There is a seal or a connection leaking. Take the iron apart -- you'll probably see where it's been leaking.

The red security light is on permanently

You have to try resetting the system. First turn the breaker off for the condenser and wait about 20 seconds. After you turn it back on the system should reset. If the light stays on then you have an issue with the unit and i would get a professional to help. West Palm Beach Air Conditioning

Tefal Pro Express - Constant Steam (Model 2932)

Great answer from Jacquief above. To which I add try giving the base of the iron and its button, a very light tapping with a tack hammer (much smaller and lighter than a standard hammer) wrapped in a tea-towel. This can often break up the lime scale seal which has formed somewhere inside and is not responding to Jacquief's method. In future never use scale laden tap water in your iron, use $2 litre bottles of distilled water from any supermarket.

How to open this rinse boiler for tefal pro express 2929 iron

Hello there. Place a coin in the groove running along the centre of the plug and twist it, or lie the end of a screwdriver into the groove and twist it. If the plug still will not move then it is jammed in with scale. Please see below how I solved the plug problem when it was being held down and was immoveable due to scale. NOTE: In future always use $2.00 litre bottles of distilled water from supermarkets in your iron, never use scale laden tap water. Tefal pro express steam generator iron I need to drain '& clean the boiler but the boiler drain plug is seized I can't loosen it Use a small tack hammer (its head covered with a cloth) they have a far smaller and lighter head than a standard hammer. Tap all around the edge of the plug and in the middle. My thinking is that the plug is in the grip of scale. The tapping loosens it and it falls off. This worked for me. Also tap the end of a tiny screwdriver like watchmakers use, or the head of a fine tip kitchen skewer around the perimeter edge of the plug, go gently around twice, plus the other tapping and it breaks the seal formed by scale which is holding the plug down. Next, fill and rinse the boiler out up to 6 times to get rid of all the sediment and the rinse water runs 100% clean. Always use distilled water from supermarket from now on (litre less than $3.00). No more scale, no more cleaning. WARNING: Make sure boiler is totally water free after final rinse- out. Refill water container on the actual iron itself with distilled water from now on. Please let us all know if this worked for you and if my post was helpful. Good luck with it, Chris.

The iron has been all descaled, however we cannot get any steam when pressing the button. It is a Tefal express generator model 3 years old.

Once you have descaled the boiler and refilled your frontpiece of the iron itself (hopefully with distilled water - any supermarket) you press the "reset"/ "restart" button on the back end of the steam generating unit. When the water is hot enough press steam button & turbo button a few times - WARNING: make sure iron is facing downwards and cover ironing board with old rag because initially brown steam splatter will come out on first few steam releases.

The boiler drain plug is seized can't loosen it

In another post I suggested that you may need to press a "restart" or "reset" button on the back of the generator mine is a small yellow one. Fill up the water tank to just below fill line and then press the "restart" button which is way up the other end of the machine - at the back end. I just hope your model has this button. Good luck.
