First of all, why did you reset it ? Was there an underlying error you were attempting to correct ? Resetting equipment is not just for playing with, you know. Have you looked up this issue in the manual, or contacted the FAQ section of the Sony website ?

It has possibly a write issue or maybe a bad HDD. Take it to an Authorised Sony Service Department for service.

For the Error: 91:01 in Sony hdr-pj50e, I will suggest to follow the below steps:

·It may be due to flash or battery problem. ·Turn off the camera and then remove the battery. ·Don't put the camera again for about 1 minute. ·Turn the camera on again.

Losing your Handycam software is the best thing that could have happened to you all. It stinks. Firewire eliminates the need for the crummy camcorder software. Basically, you need to install, or have installed, a Firewire card in your PC, then buy a Firewire cable. Then WinDV software will work perfectly to import video. USB connections, and the USB cable, are ideal for downloading digital still images from cameras. Running footage requires a very large bandwidth, which basically is the throughput from camera to computer. Think of a funnel with a small opening. The small opening is USB. Make the opening 4 times as large and nothing backs up in the funnel. The large opening is Firewire. Anyways, by using a Firewire connection, you can bypass the camcorder software and use "real" video editing software.

after i got full hard desk on my sony HD (HDR-XR520) any vide i record i cant copy it and it doesn't appear on my computer and then the files on the camera when i play them they don't ply and i found a message said: No applicable files available, so please how can solve this problem? or it's an industrial bad side with this camera??

1. I removed the battery. 2. With the power switch On position and holding the tape ejected I inserted the battery back on & it ejected the stuck tape.

There are many software products out there that can change the videos into the .mpeg, .flv, dvd, .vob, .wmv, etc. formats of your choice. this model has AV connecting interface, use an AV cord u can connect with an AV input TV

What DVD's are you using +R/RW -R/RW some formats may not work especially on non-branded media some DVD players wont even play CD-R but will play some CD-RW of the correct brand.

I suggest that you try your finalized DVD in your PC then create an image using ImageBurn then burn the image onto a branded media and try again. Most firmware on DVD burners are very forgiving and will support a wider range of manufacturers and formats.

Hope this helps, you might want to look on your DVD players website for updated firmware you will need a blank CD and create a update disc using your computer.

open it, clean the dust with air blower, check whether either the capstan motor or drum drive motor is struck, try to loosen it with a plastic lever.

this camcorder is an earlier model thus the zoom control motor could be weak, if so open it and take out the camera section and unscrew the zoom control motor, loosen it, some sort of sticky grease on the worm gear also obstructs, clean it with small brush or cotton bud. then apply a little silicon grease. don't let dust go in.

Oddly I have the oposite of this problem. I actually did find the drivers but now I need to find a software that will record the video off of it. I normally use MotionDV STUDIO but for some reason it won't detect this camera.

take it to a repair man. some doors open via a small motor with a rubber belt. these belts tend to break due ware and tear.
