If you are still using the same paper, you have turn it up side down, thermal paper only print on one side

Sharp XE-A207 cash register. Why does my XEA207 beep when we try to ring up a sale please?

Question edited for clarity and to add MAKER. Question moved from Land Phones to make model category. Normally because a transaction wasn't finished, for instance hitting a discount key where the choice is 5% or 10%, not hitting the number and then pressing Total. Or you are in X or Y Mode and not in Reg. When turning on our sharp XE-A42S cash register in REG mode it lets us enter in a price, but when we go to push the department key, it beeps and displays misoperation...

Firstly, press subtotal (ST) button. If a price appears, you are in a sale and it is waiting for you to finish (try another method like credit). If it gives an error or beep when you press ST button and the drawer does not open when pressing CA/AT/NS, you probably haven't signed on. Try signing on using a PIN number (see clerk sign on in your manual)

Sharp xe a213 - My till receipt is not printing although it still runs through the feeder.

Make sure the paper roll is set in the holder with the SHINY side towards you as it feeds. Sharp xe-a 407 cash register the display is white nothing on it and the machine is working

Most Sharp registers have a brightness or contrast control but I can't find one listed for this model. Have a look around the edge of the display to see if there is a control. Otherwise, it may be a faulty display if the machine is still working
