I have an old surround sound reciver ROTEL RSX-1067 Mabee 20-30-40 years old : one day it just shuts down, just like that.

Several possibilities come to mind. First shorted connections to speaker wires. Faults in the power supply. Sometimes if the unit has not been working for a while the large capacitors in the power supply can dry up. An overload on a power transistors.

Rotel rsx 1065 switches on. every single thing is lit up in the display panel on receiver. But unable to select anything and of course no sound. what could be wrong?

Probably the EEPROM, the heart and brain of the appliance. I had the same issue with my AIWA, could not figure out the cause, took it in, tech told me EEPROM is blown. Not economical to repair.

Rotel RHB-10 amp not firing up anymore; protection light/cicuit not engaging

Check the rest of the power supply, for example the transformer if there is no power at all. If you are getting some indication of power, check the voltage regulator circuit.

I have a rotel amp model no is ra-313

I'm guessing you don't know for sure that it even needs fuses. They don't go out like they used to, as everything is controlled by a microprocessor(computer within your unit). I would suggest, that you, with the power plug pulled out, use an ohm meter to be sure that each fuse is shorted. If you need further assistance, or would like to inquire about a repair, please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. Thank you.

Where can we buy the remote of RSX 1067 7IN1

I do not know anything about your brand or market, but I have had good success with replacement remotes at http://www.replacementremotes.com/ They have a very wide selection of mostly refurbished remotes. Originally supplied with RSX 1058 is this: http://www.replacementremotes.com/ROTEL/Buy-RR-1061-RR1061-Audio-Remote-Control.html

Sound from only one channel

Turn off the other channel and listen only to the bad channel playing some music. Turn it up! If you hear any music the pre-amp is working and the power amp is faulty. If you don't, then the pre-amp is faulty. Because it's a stereo amp you have the good channel to compare with the bad. So you can do voltage tests, or "buzz" tests. Buzz Tests or where you apply a insulated tool to the circuits, a buzz will be heard. If it buzzers in the good channel it should in the bad. Ignore the power supply and don't short any parts out!

I cannot get equal volume on both channels. It snaps crackles,

If it's an old type control then you can spray it with Servisol switch cleaner. You might have to take the top cover off to get better access.

My rotel preamp wont turn on what is the power converter it has blown?

It's more likely to be a fuse that's gone. If so it could be caused by faulty device on the heat sink. The only device that converts power is a Transformer. You can test this by simply putting a Volt meter on it's terminals. They are not hard to fit, however they have to be replaced by the same thing or one approved by Rotel.
