Some manufacturers allow you to set a max volume limit so you don't blow your ears off.  Check the users manual to see how to turn it off.
Also, have tech support install a new potentiometer for you.

Probably the EEPROM, the heart and brain of the appliance.
I had the same issue with my AIWA, could not figure out the cause, took it in, tech told me EEPROM is blown.
Not economical to repair.

Check the rest of the power supply, for example the transformer if there is no power at all. If you are getting some indication of power, check the voltage regulator circuit.

Hi Awal. Interesting problem. Have you tried another pair of leads? What source are you using please, cd tuner etc? I noticed the the names for the five audio/video inputs can be customized by the user, Maybe there is a firmware issue? With the unit being surround sound Have you tried running in 2 chanels only?

I'm guessing you don't know for sure that it even needs fuses. They don't go out like they used to, as everything is controlled by a microprocessor(computer within your unit). I would suggest, that you, with the power plug pulled out, use an ohm meter to be sure that each fuse is shorted.
