Any watch shop or jewelry store should have the springbar you need and will probably install it for you at no charge or for just a few dollars. Doing it yourself can be a frustrating experience and you could scratch the watch or buckle.

Accuracy varies between a few

hi if its new then send it back as their clearly is a fault with this watch its clear that a part in the watch is sticking causing the time loss ie the second hand would stop going round then would free itself if this is the case then the watch would need stripping and rebuilding and this is beyond anything a novice could do to put right,

now the other problem you could have is that the hour or minute hand may not be fitted correctly causing it to slip if the watch was shocked or knocked at any point this could cause one of the hands to jump round a bit causing it to display the wrong time but to put this right it would mean stripping the watch down and this is just something you would not be able to do yourself.

what you could try is not wareing the watch for a couple of days leave it somewhere where it cant get knocked then see if it loses any time if it does then its clear that their is a sticking part inside the watch with may just need greasing but could need parts replacing, how ever if it dont lose time when its not been worn then this would point towards the hands been loose causing them to jump making the time alter.
either way this should not be happening to a new watch i would take the watch back to where you brought it from and get it exchanged this isnt something you can repair yourself as you would need specialist tools and it would be to difficult to do.
even if you took it to a watch shop they would send it back to the makers as its the only way you can get this repaired.

Check your warranty and take it back and get an exchange if this is possible.

Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

How do you open the back of a raymond weil men's

I suggest you take it to a watch shop. DIY battery replacement is not as easy as it seems.

Frequently there are cries for help after a battery has been replaced and the watch no longer works!

The yellow chronograph hand is set between the 11

The instructions that you will find on their web site do not mention the button you describe.

Re-setting the hands is done by pressing the button B (4 o'clock). The instructions are a little ambiguous, so if this fails, then press button A to start and A again to Stop. Then try button B to re-set.

You appear to have the wrong instructions. A new set can be downloaded by going to their web site (www.raymond-weil.com), put your cursor over "customer care" and a drop down menu will appear. Select "instructions for use" and an index of watch types will be displayed. Download the one for your watch.

Battery has died were can i go to replace it

Try going to the RW website and finding their list of retailers in your area. Most reputable jewellers who sell high end watches should also be able to do this for you, but be careful if the watch is under warranty as you may have to do it through an authorised service centre.

Watch stopped running when not worn

Make sure you are turning the crown clockwise and stop winding when you feel the tension increase. Also, try wearing it for a day even if it is not runninr; the motion may be enough to get it going if it is an automatic.
There may be something more wrong with your watch.
If the RW is less than 2 years old you should be covered, they have one of the best warranties in the business.
If it needs repair and is older than 2 years, I would still send it to the RW repair center in NY to see what they can do.

The watch has a two year warranty. If two years has past and the watch is "out of warranty" then you can get a replacement band through the Raymond Weil website.
