MY UPS IS NOT GIVING

This appears to be an older model UPS, and it might be time to think about purchasing a new one, especially if this one has been through several outages/surges. Once a UPS like this is surged, the protection fuses can blow. In addition, if the battery has had a long lifetime it might be worn out.

Hello, my Powerware 3105 beeps

Your problem is showing up under the Powerware 9305 (a very large UPS) but your comments are about the 3105. It sounds like your battery is dead. If your UPS is over 3-5 years old, that's most likely the case. The website address to view the user manual is www.eaton.com/3105 You can contact Eaton directly, too. Eaton bought Powerware about 6 years ago. Here's the contact info. Be sure to have your serial and model numbers ready from the rating label on your UPS.

Need to replace the fan on a powerware 9120T

The fan replacement is not hard, but it is fiddly.
You need to pull out the battery case to remove DC power. To do this - front display cover off by pushing up the plastic tabs inside the bottom front of the and tapping the top of the cover to release the top tabs. Take off the metal case cover using a Torx screwdriver. Undo the 4 screws on the back holding the steel fan cover. Using needlenose pliers or a very small screwdriver, carefully remove the fan connector from the the back PCB board. This connector is fragile and tends to break easily. Pull out the fan. Note the locaton of the 2 screws on the inside fan cover. I use a NMB-MAT Model 3610KL-04W-B50 12 volt DC replacement fan that I order in specially from any wholesale electronics shop as you want the maximum CFM out of the fan. You need to cut the existing fan leads and solder the existing connector leads to the new fan lead, using heat shrink tubing. The connector goes back in only one way- note the dimple on the side. The leads can be a little longer on your completed fan assembly. The fan maufacturer's label should face the back of the UPS.

Site problem

Need more info on your problem. If it is displaying "Site Fault", then the UPS is doing its job and you have a problem with the wiring circuit to the UPS. Either you have no ground wire to the outlet, the hot and neutral to the outlet are reversed, or the neutral and the ground are reversed.

The Prestige 1250EXT PS2E has a white or red(depending on how old it is) 4 hole rectangular socket on the back bottom left of the UPS when it is lying flat on the bench. The left end terminal is positive and the right end terminal is negative. This female socket(connector) is where the male battery connector from a Prestige battery pack will fit. It can only be connected one way. The DC battery bus is 60 volts nominal.

Replaced old 12 V, 33

Mike Decamp is clueless. That is not a answer. The UPS has large DC capacitors. These do go bad over time. The capacitors are required to maintain a good DC Buss and helps in assisting when putting the UPS in bypass and back online. You can not turn on the inverter with out precharging the capacitors. Get the part numbers of the caps and replace. Make sure UPS and batteries are off or you will get shocked.

Black Max 7000w 8750 surge

Hello,

Pull the spark plug out and try pulling the cord. Sometimes it gets flooded and the cylinder fills with fuel and hydro locks. When you pull the cord and there is fuel/oil in the cylinder, it will fly out when you pull it. Stay out of the way.

If that is not the problem ( I think it is though), double check the oil level. Check the color of the oil, it should not have any silvery color. It should also not be overfull. If it is......smell it......, does it smell like gasoline? If it is overfull, and smells like gas, you have a carburetor problem. And if you do chances are you already know that, it will leak and drip, unless you shut the fuel valve off.

If everything seems fine...,and you still have a stuck motor, you will need to seperate the generator from the engine and determine which one is actually stuck.

Hope it's just a leaky needle and seat in the carb. causing your flooding. If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/matt_8dbc24bf722649ac

Replaced batteries, plugged in unit.

What PW9120 do you have?
If its the 700VA then it could be that diode MUR460 is shorted (one of two large axial diodes near the front end of the heatsink).

Ups no displya

The older versions of the PW9120 UPS systems have a problem with the inside ribbon cable connection. Remove the front plastic cover plate by sticking each of your little fingers to push up the 2 plastic tabs on the underside of the front cover. Pull forward at the bottom of the front cover and carefully tap the top of the plastic cover down to undo the inside plastic tabs. Let the front cover swing on the ribbon cable.
You will need a Torx screwdriver to remove the side cover screws - 2 at the back and 4 on each side. Lift the steel case up and forward. Follow the ribbon cable to the connector on the top PC board of the UPS. If the ribbon cable is loose, push it back up into the connector, scrape off any silicon glue, then apply new silicon glue or black automotive silicone(holds better).
If this does not seem to be the problem, check the ribbon cable at the front cover plate end to see if the plastic cover for the ribbon cable anchor and its 2 screws are still locking it in place.
If you still don't have a display, the top PC board for your UPS is not working. It will have to be replaced and since these units are discontinued you may have to try to get a unit from you local recycler, or you could contact Gruber in the US to see if they will sell you a part.
