I think the existing battery will be a 12V 26Ah type. You can use any brand 12V/26Ah batteries. Make sure you are using the same number and you connect them in the exact manner and polarity as the old battrey bank.

If the load is dropped then there is a serious fault with the ups, even if the inverter fails, it should go to bypass and not drop the load.

Sound like a control fault, I suggest you need a ups tech.

This equipment has many dangerous parts inside. Batteries are always live and very dangerous. The boards are stuffed the surface mount components.

Sounds like it is not regulating the voltage and current charging the batteries. Consult a service manual to look for a repair method.

It either means the ground wire in extension cord is not there or is open. It could also mean that the outlet wasn't wired with a ground back to the panel.
