The printer won't print anything and the on/off light blinks
you can unplug it for a long period of time and plug it back in and try it. Also, try using a can of compressed air to blow out any debris. Also, check HP's site under you model to make sure you can replace one cartridge without replacing the other.
Otherwise you may have a mechanical issue the would require professional repair, I think that model is about 6 years old and you would probably be better of buying new.
My primera sig IV interior red lights stay on...
The interior light is part of the cartridge optical reader assembly and tells you that it isn't recognising the ink cartridge. Either they are the wrong cartridges or the bar code at the bottom of the cartridge is unreadable. Using a cotton bud dipped in a bit of metho wipe around the red and clear led's ensuring you clean the small slot next to the led's (the reader). Also either clean the barcodes on the cartridge, or change the cartridges.

Help my CD's are slipping
i had the same problem earlier today. get a flash light with the printer lid up on the right corner should be a chuck of ink there remove that with a q tip and get some rubbering alcohol dip with q tip and clean the surrounding area you probably gonna need like 10 q-tips theres actually a sensor some where around there but i never seem to find it but most likely the run off ink is blocking the sensor from doing its job. once your done turn off the printer and unplug usb and power
Microboards PF-2 inkjet scanner problem
I have found that a slight forward adjustment (actually, it was adjusted all forward, so I had to bend it)of the vertical post that holds the reader so that it is closer to the inkcarts-- but really have to be careful that you don't adjust too close, or else the carts might strike the reader. I moved the reader closer by about 1/16th of an inch-- that solved the problem.
Too bad Microboards had installed this-- just to milk their own clients of their products. If there was another alternative, I'd be there.
Just a note to others-- if the reader does not read properly, it will stop the feeding of the disks alltogether and you will have a flashing down arrow on the right and the red light on the left.
I have resorted to having the carts refilled-- works great.
PF-2 Won't detecd cd
First try re-installing the PF-2 print drivers. If that doesn't work, then try a different ink cartridge. If you have printed more than 5000 discs in the printer, it just may need a good cleaning as the sensors would be full of dried ink.

Microboards PFII just keeps rolling discs and will not print
Di arleady did the first thing that we advise of customers to do - reload the PF-2 print drivers. Since that did not work you a most likely looking at needing the print engine replaced. This typically costs $600+ depending on how full of ink the inside of your printer is. Hoefully your printer is still under warranty with Microboards. If not, you can call Microboards at 952.556.1639 or check ou this repair company

I have a microboards DX-1
I'd recommend calling their support line at 952-556-1639 and asking for a guy named Brochu. I own a DX-1 and he was very helpful and was able to walk me through the process on the phone.
