Hi

There is problem on printer driver. You need to set up again the printer by adding new printer and set it as default printer. When it finished the test page, then it solves your problem. Delete the old printer icon afterwards

I am attempting to install

Have you actually gone through the installation process? I understand what Virtual PC is supposed to do, but it may not be compatible with the PF2 drivers and SureThing software. Did you try talking to someone at Microboards? If you haven't tried the installation, it might not hurt to at least try. If you have tried and it doesn't work, then I guess you're stuck. :-( Good luck!

Only printing one disc after changing colour cartridge

I have had this problem and tech support said to adjust the sensor on the left that the cartridges pass by so the sensor can sense the foil strip on the cartridge. I moved mine a little closer to the cartridge path, but obviously you can't move it too much or the cartridge will hit the sensor.

My Microboards PF2 does not print color properly.

The next to last cartridge I installed did not print properly. It seemed like all the colors were not there so I weighed it on a postage scale and it weighed less than another new one I had. I called Microboards. They said to send it to them and they replaced it. It may not be that, but weighing it should give some indication if it is.

When printing using DiscJuggler, my

The racket you're hearing is a problem with the gears that drive the tray. The unit will have to be disassembled to ascertain what the problem is. Most likely you will have a bad gear, or there will be some problem with a sensor/control board. Bottom line is that the unit will need servicing, which will require opening it up and inspecting/troubleshooting it. Primera warranties this unit for life, but one must still pay for repairs after 1 year (which puzzles me, and sounds like some kind of a contradiction). They do have reportedly excellent free phone support, indefinitely, however, so your first recourse would be to contact them, and go from there. Here is Primera's contact site, and their support phone number:
http://www.primera.com/contact_tech_support.cfm
Scroll down the page for their phone number.
Good luck, and hope this helps.

You've got an expensive unit (see below for Press Release), with a built-in CD/DVD reader/writer.
Given that your unit could be six years old, it's possible that the reader/writer has "died".

It seems to be a "stand-alone" unit -- not something that requires either Mac OSx or Windows XP/Vista/7 to operate.

I'm guessing that _ANY_ IDE (not 'SATA') HP-brand reader/writer, provided that it has a "LightScribe" capability, could be purchased, and could be inserted to replace the "dead" reader/writer. For about $100, it's worthwhile to try this "substitution" to revive your unit.

I cannot print despite new ink

Are you using a factory new ink cartridge?
Please consider the following:
If you are using a refilled or third party cartridge that may well be your problem. Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges.
They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead.
If you are using factory new cartridges, then please call the manufacturers Technical Support for assistance with the warranty on the cartridges

Disc Feeding Problem

I am assuming you are using a PF-2 printer. If you are using a standard HP78 ink cartridge instead of the Microboards cartridge, the unit will only print approx 5 discs before it stops. The microboards cartridges have a security tag under the barcode label that is scanned by a magnetic reader on the left hand part of the unit. If you are careful, you can use a razor blade and remove the label from a microboards cartridge and tape it on the front of a HP ink and save yourself about $25 an ink cartridge...

The disk will drop but will only move a few inches

Hello,

Please fix the physical components of your printer particularly the belt and its rotator that causes the problem. I strongly suggest that you have to fix it or replace the components of the printer that is causing the problem. Also find a technician or shop that handles the repair of printer and let them repair your printer.
Thanks
