Only printing one disc after changing colour cartridge
I have had this problem and tech support said to adjust the sensor on the left that the cartridges pass by so the sensor can sense the foil strip on the cartridge. I moved mine a little closer to the cartridge path, but obviously you can't move it too much or the cartridge will hit the sensor.
My Microboards PF2 does not print color properly.
The next to last cartridge I installed did not print properly. It seemed like all the colors were not there so I weighed it on a postage scale and it weighed less than another new one I had. I called Microboards. They said to send it to them and they replaced it. It may not be that, but weighing it should give some indication if it is.
MY Microboards G4 Disc publisher ink light flashes when turned on . It stoppet working after a power failure .
The flashing ink light on your Microboards G4 Disc publisher could indicate a few possible issues. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to fix it:
1. Check ink levels: Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed and have enough ink. If the ink levels are low, replace the cartridges.
2. Restart the printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a few minutes, and then plug it back in. Turn on the printer and check if the ink light still flashes.
3. Reset the printer: Look for a reset button or option in the printer's settings or user manual. Perform a reset to see if it resolves the issue.
4. Clean the ink cartridges: Ink buildup or clogs on the cartridges can cause issues. Remove the cartridges and clean them gently with a lint-free cloth or cotton swab dipped in distilled water. Allow them to dry before reinstalling.
5. Update firmware and drivers: Visit the manufacturer's website and download any available firmware updates or driver software for your printer model. Install them and see if it resolves the problem.
6. Contact customer support: If none of the above steps work, it's best to reach out to Microboards customer support for further assistance. They may be able to provide specific troubleshooting steps or arrange for repairs if needed.
Remember to consult your printer's user manual for any specific instructions or warnings before attempting any troubleshooting steps.
PF Pro printing pale blue instead of black
you are printing composite black instead of pure black.Still problem is the print head not getting all inks (may be air, or you didn't remove some seals on the inks/print head.
Our church QD-DVD MultiDrive duplicator
I suggest you do a system recovery (procedure varies by type of operating system) to a earlier date when the Drive was working ok. also go on the Internet and find the web support site and make sure the drive has the latest Firmware installed. If none of this works then you will likely need to replace the drive.
Microboards PF2. Loading jams after
We have the same problem with some brands of discs. Fan the discs before you load them and/or try another brand of DVD. We like Datasafe or Datawrite
I have a microboards DX-1
I'd recommend calling their support line at 952-556-1639 and asking for a guy named Brochu. I own a DX-1 and he was very helpful and was able to walk me through the process on the phone.
