Michele Watches - Answered Questions & Fixed Issues
Type of battery in Michele deco diamond watch?
395/399 Duracell on Ebay.
I gave up trying to change the battery last time and had a store do it. This time I was determined to do it myself like I do for the dozen or so watches that we have. The Michelle Deco is a bear, as once you take the back off it has a battery restraining bracket that requires a VERY SMALL screw driver and a lot of patience when it is time to re-assemble it. If you are up to trying it yourself you better have great eyesight, steady hands and the right screw drivers (a magnetic one helps get that tiny battery retaining screw back in). It took me almost an hour but I did it. Good luck to you.
How to replace battery in a Michele CSX watch
I replace the battery in my Michele watches myself. All you need is a very small screwdriver. 3 pack of replacement batteries on Amazon for $5.00. Takes Energizer or Renata 321 battery

I just purchased a Michele
It might have something to do with the timing function. Perhaps when you're not wearing it, you pull the stem out but not all the way? If it's pulled to the second notch and hit one of the 2 pusher buttons, you may be stopping it. And likewise, perhaps you're starting the seconds counter? Google Michele watch instructions for the PDF instruction manual for details.

I have a new chronograph Michele watch. How do I
As per the instruction PDF that I just read, the day of the week only changes with each 24 hour rotation. Therefore to change it, you might pull the crown out all the way and wind it through every hour in each day until it advances to the day you want. Then set the correct time. Push the crown in one notch to the second position and wind the dates forward until it stops on the one you want. It doesn't appear that going backwards for either the time (for day of the week) or date works.

MICHELE CSX HAND ALIGNMENT
You don't say if your "CSX" is a battery powered watch or a mechanical or windup type watch. The solution for a mechanical watch is take it to a watchmaker. If it is a battery powered watch you may be able to do it yourself. Not all work the same way so without knowing what a "CSX" is I will give you one way to try. Pull the crown out two clicksHold the lower button in until a hand moves. You have now selected that hand to adjustUsing the upper button now, press and adjust the hand until it lines up with 12Now hold the lower button againAnother hand should moveUse the upper button to adjust this hand to the 12 positioncontinue this until all the hands line up with 12Press the crown in and press the upper button, the chronograph hands should startPress the upper button again and they should startPress the lower button and they should all go to the 12 o'clock position

Can i remove links from
Any watch repair shop will usually do it for free or under 5 dollars. You can do it yourself with care and very small set of screwdrivers which are probably about 10 to 20 dollars at any department store. I recommend a shop, and they can usually do that for you in less than 10 minutes

Had the battery replaced in
Loose cannon pinion or cannon driving wheel; the seconds hand represents the wheels in the back of the watch going around ok, but the power need to transfer through to the front of the watch somehow.
This is done by snapping/clicking two wheels together on either side of the main plate. The one on the dial side (cannon pinion) needs to slip to be able to set the time as the minute hand is set on this pinion. Im sorry, its time to see a repair guy.
Hope helps.

The red bead (?) on the stem of my Michele CSX
I also chipped the enamel on the crown. You should take it to the place you purchased it and they will send it to Michele (actually Fossil) for repair. I had my Michele for 5 years before sending it in to have the crown repaired and have since lost the stem. Prior to that first repair, I did not have any issues with my watch. I really think that the parts used on my watch for the first repair were shotty. Very disappointing, but what do you do?
