My lg gas dryer model no dlg3744w will not heat
There are three high limit thermostats. Check all three for continuity. They should read closed (0 ohms). Check the flame sensor. They're cheap so you could just replace. It needs to close before the first solenoid opens and then open before the second solenoid opens. Again, easier to replace. Check continuity on the solenoid coils. They should read 1.5 K ohms. I replaced two gas valves before I recognized a "new" gas valve might not be really new.

Does a dryer have areset button
Generally speaking no. It might be the control board or the power supply or the control panel that is bad. You can take the top off and there should be a set of technician instructions that say what to test.

How to reset the check filter message
OK, you will need to replace the center post seals. The parts are less than $10.00 but you will need a special tool to get the basket out. Let me know if you want to tackle this job yourself and I will direct you to the parts and the tool and a video to walk you thru the repair. A service call for this will be anywhere from $100.00 to $150.00. Keep me posted!
