It is ovbvious from the Picture that your screen is cracked. You will not be able to comlete the alignment without fixing that first. Contact HP or a local HP repairer

Set it up with what? Do you mean sync with your computer? Are you using USB or Bluetooth?

Best thing to do.

1. Unplug your USB connection from PPC -> Computer
2. Uninstall Activesync if you have it installed
3. Restart your computer
4. Re-install activesync
5. Restart your PPC
6. When asked to connect the PPC connect it via USB

2) How much can you put in? - Depending on the model of your Pocket Pc you can put up to 1gigabite but they usually come with only 64mb.

3) How to install it - You must first buy an HP expansion pack which you place on your Pocket Pc and you place the extra memory card in the expansion pack.

4) Where can you download software for it? - The memory card comes with the software installed already

You need to press buttons 1 + 4 + Reset until the screen turn off, after that wait for 60 seconds and press the reset button again. remember that hard reset erase everything from your ipaq like personal information, programs that you installed, etc.

Usually, these will hold the memory for up to a week after the battery dies. However, if you were gone 2 weeks and it's forgotten everything, I'm afraid it's just gone. There is no permanent memory storage to restore it from.

unfortunatly this isnt a new issue. http://computing.net/pda/wwwboard/forum/838.html It sounds as though your recharging system has went on the fritz. If this is the case then money signs are going to soon be appearing. replacing the charging system is impracticle and the system blocks startup so this would even cause a new battery to not function properly and also probably what ruined your previous one.

Try checking the internet connection

If you are saying it heats up the it sounds to me like the battery is not holding a charge anymore. Try to remove the batter and place the pocket pc in its cradle and turn it on if it works then you can be sure it's the battery. You can probably pick up a batery on Ebay real cheap. Or swing by your local BatteryPlus store and they can test the old battery and probably buy a new one in the store. I hope this helps Have a great day.

Hi, most iPAQs have a soft reset at the bottom right which can be pressed with the use of the stylus. also, there is a hard on/off switch (which erases most info) on the bottom left inside a small/narrow slot/hole. Those batteries only last about 2 years. It's probably time for a replacement.
