My trimmer only runs about 5 minutes on a fully charged battery, It seems to be overheating. If I let it cool off it will run again, but only for a short time. sometimes grass gets caught around the spool, I have taken off the spool to remove excess grass. Is there a diagram that describes that disects this part of the unit to show parts and how they go on.

You sure the battery is fully charged. A bad battery will run a bit and then stop providing enough power. Then if you wait it will have "rested" and work another tad. Then rest again.
Almost sure that your battery is bogus.

SOURCE: ryobi gas trimmer

I don't mean to over simplify this, but are you using fresh gas? Gas string trimmers are extremely ticky when it comes to gas. They like it SUPER fresh. And while the gas and oil mixture should be right, it can be off a little bit and still run. Try draining all of the gas out, and then filling up with fresh mix. This is ALWAYS my first step with string trimmers, and it fixes the problem 75% of the time.
Hope this helps!!

SOURCE: RYOBI CS 26 stopps after 2 minutes

My suggestion is to return it. This is just a sign of future problems you are likely to have in the future. Think about buying a better item from a dealer that services what they sell. It is very much worth the difference in price. More than likely the unit they sell you will last 5 times longer than what you buy in the home center. Think about it. The servicing dealer does not want to have to repair everything they sell 4 or 5 times a year so they will not sell you junk.

SOURCE: my ryobi grass trimmer will only run on 1/2 choke

Check for fuel supply problems (clogged cap vent, dirty tank fuel filter, clogged or faulty fuel intake lines, leaky or cracked primer bulb, air leak in rear crankcase cover...check 4 screws above gas tank, air leak in carb gasket...check carb nuts, trashed up carburetor...needs cleaning or rebuild, mixture screws need adjusting)....a myriad of possibilities here but I would guess it's a dirty carb....hope it helps

I have a euralab robot vacuum and it is only lasting about 5 minutes before it runs out of power. I have had it for about 2 weeks and it worked well at first

I can't guarantee that this will solve the problem, but try deep cycling the battery.
Run the robot until it stops completely and uses all of the battery charge.
Charge the battery until fully charged. Let the battery cool for 6 hours.
Repeat and see if the battery life improves.
Repeat this charge/cool/discharge cycle 3 to 4 times.

My worx will not stay charged... the charger goes green after about 10 minutes and only runs for about 5 minutes...

it sounds like the battery has seen better days. a battery will get a "memory" and after while it could fully charged as far as the charger know but only hold a little charge. with the advices in batteries they shouldn't do this but they all do wear out of time. I would get a new battery, and everything should be just fine. With the any new rechargeable battery you want to make sure that you charge it completely and drain it the whole way before recharging.
Best of luck

Battery doesn't last long. Bought new battery. Runs for only 5 min.

You have to fully charge the new battery before you use in the piece of equipment. Plus it may take 2 to 3 times charging the battery to where the equipment runs for as long as the owner's manual says it is suppose to run.

Your gas cap is probably clogged with dirt. The next time you run the trimmer and it begins to stall out, loosen the gas cap, it should start to run good again. Gas cap must be able to breathe in order for gas to flow properly.
