I need a new charging station for battery-what do I get one? Price?

I have run into the same problem. I lost the spring for the line feed. I contacted customer service listed on the manual. (What a joke!) After two weeks waitThey are only an importer of the Power Glide brand line and have NO PARTS other than replacement spools. I have now contacted Ace Hardware customer service and Jeannie there advised that this unit is discontinued by both Ace and the manufacturer.

My advice: DO NOT BUY ANYTHING WITH THE POWER GLIDE BRAND. THEY CAOULD NOT CARE LESS ABOUT CUSTOMERS.

O.k. first ... Are you using an exterior plug?? Check and make sure you are getting power to the plug on the trimmer. If so, I would guess that it would be cheaper to replace the trimmer than to go to the manufacturer or a repair shop. If you like to tinker, go to Radio Shack and get a 20 amp rated switch and hardwire the darn thing. If you do something like this, ALWAYS SWITCH THE HOT (BLACK) WIRE!!! Never the white one.

You have to fully charge the new battery before you use in the piece of equipment. Plus it may take 2 to 3 times charging the battery to where the equipment runs for as long as the owner's manual says it is suppose to run.

attached is a scanned copy of the page of the booklet to change the spool; if this is not what you want, I also have scanned the page to show how to rewind the spool

you might be able to some weedeater you cant get these parts.check to see its made for your weedeater if not it may not wook
