SOURCE: euro-pro hand/stand mixer

I just ordered new beaters for my Euro-Pro EP546 hand mixer. Their website is
euro-pro.com and their telephone # is 800-798-7398. I clicked on Customer Service on their website and asked for assistance, but no one responded. Using the toll free number got me to a live person who took my order over the phone. The replacement beaters are $7.95 plus $4.95 S&H plus tax. Try it.

SOURCE: Can the Kitchen aid accessories fit the Wolfgang puck stand mixer

If you happen to have a friendly toolmaker with a small metal lathe it should not be too difficult to modify KITCHEN AID accessories that fit on to the front powwer outlet. However Puck Stand Mixer accessories are occasionaly offered on the Web. Meat grinders are very common and original Puck pasta maker have also been seen. Get searchin'!

A mixer blade for an Oreck MKT800

Hello, Gary -

From what I have found about the Oreck MKT800 Vertical 5 Speed Hand Mixer, there is no "mixer blade" attachment for the appliance. The attachments for the mixer are:
- 2 beaters
- 2 whisks
- 2 dough hooks

You can see an image of the hand mixer with all 6 attachments here:
http://www.qvc.com/Oreck-Vertical-5-Speed-Hand-Mixer-with-Attachments.product.K6135.html

If you mean a replacement beater, whisk, or dough hook for your Oreck MKT800, so far, I have not found a source for those replacements.

Best wishes.

Kitchenaid difficulty removing whisk

It is not uncommon for gunk batter sugar eggs or other stuff to get up inside the attachment shaft of the mixer and if you don't use it for a while it can turn to glue. remember school flour and water = glue. well add some sugar and some eggs and "wallah" you got glue. How to fix? Get a squirt gun. yep fill it with hot water and squirt it up in the hook and loop portion of the attachment shaft let it sit for 5-10 mins and repeat a couple times. the beater should come off, clean the shaft and then the whisk soak the attachment portion in hot water and let soak to soften the gunk and the spray it out with the sink sprayer. hope that helps. There could be one other mechanical problem and that is the hook that the beaters hang on could be coming out and caused the attachment to jam up ther take a pencil or pen and while pressing the beater up see if the pin wiggles or wobble and most importantly goes back into the mounting shaft. let us know if this helps at all.

Mixer will not turn on. Is there a reset button?

There is no reset button. More than likely the speed control plate is bad. This is a common problem. I recommend storing the mixer unplugged and on the first speed. Also don't store it with the beater, whisk, or hook attached to the mixer. This may help save the control plate contacts from becoming sprung. [email protected]

Have a 20 plus year old Kenwood chef [navyblue and white] don't know the model number. When the K beater or whisk are attached they rotate for a few seconds then fall out any ideas what to do

for both attachments to fall out the planet hub must be worn out. check that there is a spring clip in the groove of the beaters. if you have had it repaired recently it may be running backwards which woluld eject the attachments.

K-beater is stuck on our Kenwood Chef and we can't remove it

I couldn't remove the K-Beater as when I tried to turn it the whole mechanism turned with it. I couldn't even remove the splashguard! I was going to take it to the Kenwood factory (a few miles from home) but then I thought I'd give it one more go and this is what I did...
  1. Next to where the K-Beater attaches in the middle of the circular plate is a lug with a pointed-shape bolt on the end. Remove this with a spanner and the beater plus gear cog can be removed.
  2. Place some mole grips or wide pliers on a worktop and sit the cogged gear in to it and grip so that it won't turn.
  3. Now you should be able to remove the K-Beater!
Perhaps someone can suggest how to stop it happening again. I haven't attached anything since but will update this post if I have any other helpful tips.

How do I remove the metal cap above the whisk? I want to use my new ice cream maker but the attachment won't fit unless I take off the metal cap. I've tried everything but it looks like there's no way of...

your not supposed to remove the cap. under that cap is just a gear assembly that powers the beater assembly. some of these attachments are only compatable with certain units. some of the older units arn't compatable with the newer attachments.

KitchenAid Countertop Food Mixer

ok firstly if you have a stand mixer with the lift bowl you have to put a dime on the side of the bowl at the base and see how much clearence is needed to be taken away. if the dime gets moved the mixer is ok. if not take off the flat beater, take out the bowl, and look at the back of the stand. just below the motor about 2 inches you will see a screw. turn it to the left a quarter of a turn. dont over adjust do it slowly. if you have the one that you tilt the head back on do the same thing with the screw up to you get to the adjusting part. the screw will be in a different spot on those mixers. it is located in the neck of the mixer. it is right in the area that tilts back. the dime shouldnt fly around the bowl it should just gently get tapped. and never use the wisk when adjusting always use the flat attachment. and always adjust slowly never over adjust.

SILLY QUESTION

Push the whisk attachment post up into the mixer, turn counter-clockwise and it should lock into position.
