Home theater system jvc th-d60

I have a problem whit my home theater, when I put in a dvd, the image is not stable and it says " hdcp error " what does that means ??? The JVC system works great with DVDs, but when I attempt to connect to my Vizio TV, the JVC system keeps giving me the "HDCP error". What is the error and how can we correct it? I'm using HDMI (2 meter length) cables to connect systems.

This is from the TH-D50 User Manual:

The connected TV is not HDCP-compatible. (“HDCP ERR” appears on the display.)
Disconnect the HDMI cable and connect it again, or use a shorter cable.

How do i hook up my tv to the sound system so i can hear regular tv through the speakers? I can hear it when i play a dvd but not regular tv shows.

The simplest way would be to run RCA cables from your Cable Box analog audio out (if THAT is where your TV programming comes from) to the available Audio In on the JVC. Page 9.

If the cable box has coaxial or optical digital audio OUT, run THAT (instead of the analog audio) to the correct Digital In connector. Page 8 and 9

This would free up the analog audio from the cable box to send directly to the TV's audio input for causal programming, like news, so you wouldn't need the JVC on.

Jvc th-c5 dvd theater system

Probably have a bad center unit to subwoofer cable. Sometimes the pins inside the cable bend or break. I paid 33.00 for a new one on the JVC website.
