Broke remote how do i switch to dvd on a disney tv model #p1300ntv. droped remote now it no longer works.tired of watching my kids movies in livingroom. please help me get them back to there own tv!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try Remotes.com to buy the original remote,will never worries about codes again.This tv was manufacturer by some small company for Disney corporation,that why very hard to get the universal codes to when the tv is old.

Try setting it to cable remote--see manual or check back label for manufacturer's parts and accessories phone number.

maybe needs to be config. or your tv is remote sensor defective

GO TO THE INTERNET FOR YOUR MODEL/NAME.

You can "manually" find your code by  1. pressing tv button on the remote 2. press and hold setup until TV button blinks twice 3. press 991, the tv button should blink once 4. slowly press and alternate the power and tv buttons until tv turns off.   5. press setup to lock in the code when tv turns off.

change the speaker it's busted .

I too own the Disney Pirates of the Carribean television. We have it setup in my boys' room so they can only watch DVD's, there is no cable connected to it. However, everytime we turn it on, we have to use the remote to change the input to dvd. The large Mickey button on the remote fell out and my daughter lost it. Without that button, you can't change the input at all. Therefore we have a perfectly functioning television that we can't use.

I emailed Disney and they redirected me to the actual manufacturer of the TV, Starlight Griffin. The phone number is 866-387-1902. I called and within 5 minutes, I was told that I would recieve my new remote within 10 days at NO COST TO ME!!

I went crazy for days trying to figure this out so I had to share that info with all of you immidiately! Good Luck!!

I believe that what you are watching are the responses of the portable DVD player on screen menu. How about just trying to get the tv to work for now, then try the DVD again?...accordianman
