"guess wut!!! I just figured it out....it was the vista codec package that was sitting on my laptop that I had downloaded free which was causing the problem and for a minute I doubted the Philips company guys....After removing that package the files got converted perfectly and I can see the videos on my player...Ciao and thx if anyone was trying to figure this out"

Hi! Your Philips Sa 3025/37 doesn't support .wmv video format instead it supports .smv video format. You can convert your video formats such as .wmv, .avi, .3gp, etc into .smv format.

After installing it select the dimension as 128x128 and frame rate as 15 fps from quality level-> custom -> details

am understanding that u hv converted the flv video into the same format as of ur mp3 player have. btbt note that u should match the screen resolution of ur mp3 player with the converted video. just check the screen resolution property of both the videos.
