No problem, if no pending queues, Just type from command prompt net stop spooler and press enter and then net start spooler and press enter
Note : you should be in this directory C:\Windows\System32>
If still the same, try to uninstall and reinstall the printer driver and set up again the printer.
Or uninstall and reinstall the software you are using causing this error problem.
If still the same problem occurs, the last resort would be reinstall the operating system and 100% it will resolve the problem.

Yes, that might be the problem, incorrect printer driver. I must be correctly printer driver otherwise it will cause error on your printing files.

Usually answered in minutes!
I went to the spool folder but I don't see the printer there. I'm using Windows Vista Business. I have Windows SteadyState with disk protection enabled, so rebooting the computer should clear out the printer queue. There is nothing in the queue in Start > Settings > Printers.
I noticed the printer driver was the HP Laserjet 1200 PS, I think I switched it to that one previously since pdfs take longer to print, but I just deleted the printer driver, uninstalled the printer from device manager, went to Print Management in Administrative Tools, removed the PS driver, and then did rescan in device manager and Windows reinstalled the HP Laserjet 1200 PCL 5 printer driver.
Thanks for your assistance. I have other computers, same model PC and printer, which is probably why the patron didn't mention the issue again. I'm gonna see what happens on this one with the PCL driver reinstalled.
