I have a Jura Impressa C5. My drip tray mechanism is broken because I pulled out the tray while it was still operating, and a piece of plastic of about 7.5cm x 17 cm (3 in x 7 in approx) came off and don't know where it should fit or how. If anybody is familiar with the mechanism of the drip tray, please advise how to fix this. Thank you. k

I have a Jura Impressa 27. The tray, for some odd reason, was not going back in. I simply tried it without the top part - that receives the grounds - and was finally able to get it in. I pulled it back out and found some grounds that had been dumped. It seems something was stuck that wouldn't allow it back in with the top part. Then after I was able to put both pieces back in without a problem.

try this:clean with brus two metal contact on drip tray

Kris I have this same problem. Did you figure out how to replace the flap or did you have to take it in for repair.
Does anyone else know how to replace this plastic flap?

Hi, if you havn't already solved this one, it has been caused by pulling the drip tray/ dump box out while the brew unit was still active. Switch off the machine and insert the drip tray without the dump box. Turn the machine back on and the brew unit should re align itself.
