In order to install your media player, you need to remove norton. The disk does not have a trojan virus in it. This is a common warning for Norton and it says the same thing for TurboTax software if you try and install the desktop version.

Go to your control panel and find programs & installations. Then remove both parts of norton antivirus software and reboot your pc.

Make sure you remove live updates and both parts of the anti virus software or you will be wasting your time.

Then try and install your drivers for the media player. Once installed, reboot your pc again and reinstall Norton if you wish to keep it as your choice for anti virus software.

Computer cannot detect mp3 player

If the level of infection by the virus is high, you can try repairing the OS by using the OS cd. You wont loose any installed program if repaired. But the virus will be in dead state after repairing. Then install a good anti virus and do a computer scan. This is the best way to get ride of severely infected virus. The problem you have can be because the virus may have corrupt the mp3 player's exe file

Ipod wont play musik :S

Sounds like you need to restore it in iTunes and reload it. It sounds to me like the data is corrupted and needs to be reloaded.
Connect it to the computer and open iTunes. See if it lists the songs. If it does you may be able to fix the database by clicking on the first track and then pressing shift and clicking on the last track. That will select all of the songs. Then right click on the list and select either check selected or uncheck selected. It may rebuild the database and fix the problem. If it doesn't, reconnect it and when it shows up in the list on the left, left click on the iPod once and the info screen will come up. That will tell you what version on firmware you are running and so on. Under that there are 2 buttons. Update and Restore. Select restore and then reload it. That restores it back to factory but it will wipe all the data. One of those solutions should fix it.

Cheers and best wishes

I have several virus's detected including worms and trogen 22 files infected. i have Norton 360 version 2.0

Your Norton's anti-virus database if probably out dated. You need to update it and then start your computer in Safe Mode and run the anti-virus scan.
To get into Safe Mode:
Shutdown your computer. Then restart and hit F8 as soon as the video shows. then when you get the menu, select Safe Mode from the menu.
If you cannot get Norton's to update, download the free version of AVG Anti-virus and run it in Safe Mode.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Computer is infected with viruses

Blue screens as a result of infection mean the virus has corrupted the operating system. You can fix it by doing an operating system repair with your recovery or operating system disc. Depending on the virus, this may only be a temporary fix. If this turns out to be a temporary fix, then the sure way to fix it is to completely wipe the hard drive, completely reformat using NTFS, and reload the operating system, which I would recommend. If you have any problems during or after the reload, then the virus damaged the hard drive and it will need to be replaced.

Creative Zen Micro

There is no clear reason as to why this occurs, but there are some things you can try:

1. Reset the player
2. Run Disk Cleanup
3. Reload the OS
If none of these help the only other option left is to reformat the player. If you do this you will obviously lose all content, including that bundled with the player.
Note that format seems to be the most common cure for this
