The air takes the path of least resistance.What you need is a balance.there should be some dampers in the round pipe of each heat run.restrict the ones going to the livingroom about half way....this will force more air to your bedroom.
I have a two story house, the heat/air does not flow very much to most of the downstairs vents. The upstair will get very warm, and the down stairs not at all. The difference in temp is 15 to 20 degrees.Same when I use the a/c in the summer (downstairs doesn't cool). I don't know if dampers are installed...When I call a service man all they want to do is sell me a new unit ( this one is old but blows warm and cold, just lacks balance in the vents).
