Hi. When I connect my Hyundai DVR565HD to the power supply, it begins to buzz as if it was "working", but the displayer is blank and it doesn't react to any buttons neither on the main set nor on the remote control. There is no disc on the slide-out tray but it also won't open. What shall I do? Thanks.

SOURCE: the disc is stuck and the display reads "No disc".

Ok one easy fix to this is to tilt the player while the system is on whilst constantly pressing the eject button. I once had to even turn the whole thing upside down then back and shake a little until the disk positioned itself properly to eject. good luck

Hit "bake" or "broil" button and temp setpoint

Hi

This Error indicates a loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the oven temp. sensor itself is bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue test the oven temp. sensor, it should read between 1080-1120 ohms, if the rating is more then that and the door appears to be closing fine then it is the control board that is bad and should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

I have a HP w2338h monitor that goes blank

It is most likely a bad power supply... I have had aboit 4 diff monitors do this to me... most common is under rated capacitors in the internal power supply... some times there could be a black light going out witch causes higher current draw on the power supply ( witch can take out the caps, fusses, transformers ( caps and transformers when they get week and bad can cause the buzzing sound ( on some times with a radio near buy then the monitor is acting up with blanking out and buzzine the radio will pop and buzz as well witch is a sign that there is arching going on IE. caps and transformer are most common for that )))

hope this info helps

Pleasec look through my albums so you will know what to look for.

Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

It switches on for just a second and then the screen stays blank

yetimonsta, Are you sure that the monitor is BLANK?? Or is it just BLACK? Or is it both BLANK and BLACK? Connect a known good monitor to your pc to prove that your pc is working correctly. What does your L90D+ do when connected to good pc. Have you done the flashlight test to evaluate the state of the "switch-mode-power-supply" when lcd panel goes black /blank?? Hi GlennMayer1

The high pitched noise you here is the switchmode electronic type power supply/control electronics malfunctioning. This could be caused by component failure in the power supply or a short circuit in the wiring preventing it from firing up correctly. Hard wiring a lamp directly to the power supply would allow you to check the system, but a replacement power supply is probably required.
