If none of the codes work then we have two other solutions:

1. Searching For Your Code

If you have tried all of the set-up codes for your brand of equipment ,or your brand is not listed, and you are still not able to get the unit to respond, try the following procedure to search for your code.
If you don't find a code that works, the remote will flash four times when you reach the end of all the codes for this device type.

1. PRESS the button for the device you want to program, (TV, VCR, CABLE, etc.), then RELEASE.
2. PRESS and HOLD the SETUP button until the red LED flashes twice, then RELEASE.
3. ENTER 9-9-1 (two blinks on the remote)
4. ALTERNATE slowly between the POWER key and the DEVICE (TV, VCR, CABLE, etc.) button until your device turns off. (On VCR, LD, and CD players use PLAY instead of POWER)
   Make sure that the remote is pointed at your device during the search, You may have to press this sequences of buttons up to 100 times to search the entire library of codes.
5. When your device turns OFF, PRESS the SETUP button and RELEASE it to lock in the code for your device.

2. Learn the buttons from the original

Line up your original remote and the head-to-head before completing the following steps.

1. PRESS and HOLD the SETUP button until the red LED flashes twice.
2. PRESS 9 - 7 - 5, the red LED will flash twice.
3. PRESS the DEVICE key where you wish to learn the function. The next 3 steps must be completed within 10 seconds.
4. PRESS the button that will receive the learned function, the LED will flash rapidly.
5. PRESS the button on the original remote to be learned.

Now you can repeat steps 3 through 5 to learn other functions onto other keys or press and hold SETUP until the Cinema's red light flashes twice to lock in your new feature. (If the red light does not blink twice, stop and repeat steps through 6).
To test the new feature, press and release the device key in which the new feature was learned followed by the key on which the feature was learned

I need to replace my hampton bay remote control part #G9P2BTAUC7052T for my ceiling fan and light.Where do I get one

What codes? There are 4 dip switches (see DIP switch wikipedia) inside the remote control and 4 inside the sensor that is inside the fan. They have to be in the same position. If you don't feel like messing with the one inside the fan, keep changing the ones inside the remote. U= Up, D = Down
U-U-U-U, U-U-U-D, U-U-D-U, U-D-U-U, D-U-U-U, U-U-D-D, U-D-U-D, ... D-D-D-D (*There are 16 possible arrangements*) On e of these arrangements will work (has to work) if the remote components are not damaged.

Hampton Bay is a Home Depot brand name. Most (not all) have a lifetime warranty. I think that if you take it to the nearest HOME DEPOT store, WITH the receipt they will help you by fixing or replacing the remote. We have our home completely covered by HAMPTON BAY fans and one went out after several years and they replaced it no charge for another fan. We have had great success with HOME DEPOT products and shop there often. Our preferred store is the one in Mesquite, TX on I635 East.

If there is a set-up code to Toshiba TV to this Sony remote; you can set it up. In most cases, there won't be a code with Sony remote with Toshiba. Anyway, if you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. See it in "Mosaic" or "Magazine" view. You should be able to get a universal remote for a ceiling fan at home depot or lowes. Be aware they only sell then WITH the remote and the receiver unit as a package. Be aware, you'll need to check the 4 "dip pin" positions on the receiver unit on the fan itself to program the new remote. Yes, you'll have a spare receiver left in the package unless you choose to install the new one. You may have to remove the fan to do this, as they're usually found in the canopy (where the fan hangs from the box in the ceiling.) Often, the dip switches are just left all "up," however, they could easily have been changed. Some fans are programmable now, and you can test the code without having to check the receiver in the fan (similar to an older TV remote.) If you're using this for a TV, Satellite dish, etc, you'll need to find a compatible one online (not necessarily that model, it's "UNIVERSAL" and follow the instructions that come with it. TV and Ceiling fan remotes operate totally differntly, so if you have a remote that does both tasks, it's fairly new technology, and you'll have to follow instructions for the one you purchase.
