When i make a call on the skype...the other person sees the pink video of mine ...plus i see myself pink too...what can i do to solve it...My Os win7..

This might be an issue with your web cam settings or the web cam itself. Try going through the options of the web cam to see if there are any settings making the web cam display everything pink. If not then try the web cam in another computer (I'm assuming you have a desktop with an external web cam) see if the video is still pink. If it is then there is an issue with your web cam if not then it is an issue with the settings on your computer

In the event that you are using a laptop with a built in web cam you might want to check if you still have a warranty to get the web cam repaired.

Hi,
Its clear that there is some problem with the other persons webcam settings and there is no problem from your side.
Tell them to reinstall the logitech webcam driver software and skype software once. after reinstalling their skype, for the first time when they log in, they will be shown with a wizard which is used to configure their mic, speaker and webcam. Tell them to provide correct configurations in that wizard. This should fix the problem and you can enjoy webcam chat with them.

Test your webcam here - click allow in top window

All OK - Configure to Skype
Open Skype > Options > Audio Settings - set your equipment defaults > Save > Make a test call.
Navigate to Video settings ( Options > video settings ) set your preferences and trim picture quality using settings > Save

When I connect skype to skype with my logitech Quickcam on I can see myself but not the person I am speaking with. The person I am speaking with can see humself but cannot see me.
Go into Skype select tools, options, general, video, you should now see a screen with your picture from your webcam. below the picture to the left there are options who to receive video from. Select which one you wont. your friend should do the same.

you need to set cam up with skype follow instructions

Go to TOOLS, then OPTIONS, and click on
Audio Settings
and set the Microphone and Speakers
to the computer Audio Card.
Then click on the Video Settings.
The camera if installed properly
will come up and show a picture.
Then on the bottom of the page click on Save.

Can't see the other person using skype
Whenever I am in a video call with someone. They can always see me, but I can never see clear them. I don't think it is a problem with my ATEK camera, because I can see myself in the little box in the corner on the skype window. The screen where I should be seeing the other person, is usually a light blue or gray. How can this be fixed?

Can only see myself
I was having the same problem until I updated Skype to its newest version and it seems to have helped. Something else I did was remove programs I didn,t use and old videos from my computer and probably that helped too. Hope my info will solve your problem.

Lifecam VX 6000 and Skype
On the one I just fixed, Skype would not even see the LifeCam. I had to go into the registry and delete the calls for the Lifecam in the run section. Open Regedit, back it up first then delete any referecne to Lifecam in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\current version\run and also HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Current Version\Run

Be careful to ONLY delete the referecnes to Lifecam. If you are nto familiar with the registry you can seriously mess up your file system.
