the ignition coil pack assembly on the 2.7 liter Hyundai is known for going bad. it cost about $150 what is a shame is that i have a good one in my garage lol

According to the manual I see the HT-Z310 doesn't support bluetooth connection to external devices.

The unit has to set in surround mode. There should be a button on the unit that says surround or effect..

If you mean the HDMI connections, the Out near #3 is the one that should carry audio and video to the TV after you go to page 101 in the manual (available at retrevo.com) and select HDMI SET = OTHER until you get speakers.

Later on, when you have real speakers, I'd recommend you take the TV out of the audio equation and let the receiver have direct digital input connection to each source you want to watch or hear.

There seems to be a lot of this type of lack of signal (video, audio or both) with this system. I have the same system and the same problem. Mine is working now. I'm using all HDMI connections. I think the other important thing to do is "delete" all Input Assignments that are not being used. By "delete" I mean set the Input Assignments to "----". Let me know if this helps.

Your systemn is designed and built to perform 2.1 sound. If you want 5.1 sound you can do 2 things, connect another pair of speakers to the same speakerterminal as your front speakers, however this produces 5.1 stereo sound and not 5.1 surround sound.
You can buy a new system that has the proper connections.

This set will not have the proper decoding software to produce 5.1 surroundsound. sorry.
