Please, i need a driver to my hp pavilion dv 9812us vista 32 ultimate to lan and modem
into the hp site i can not find it
and cant find the drivers to: sm pci controler, co processator, ethernet controler.

Base system missing

Is this in Device Manager? Did you notice this after the Win 7 upgrade? If so , it's a common problen when upgrading, Is that the only issue? Your Card Reader work? Modem? Co-processor? I have a HP Pavilion DV9320us I loaded Win 7 64bit Ultimate on with similar issues, modem, co-processor, card reader, etc. Use the Win Vista drivers, modify the drivers for Win 7. I went to the hp manafacture site but i can not figure out which one of these drivers is for the ethernet my computer also says i need 3 base system devices, and a modem device on high defintion audio...

This model laptop may be supplied one of several different devices. You need to install each of the device drivers until one of them works.

I can not access internet via wireless or LAN. Wireless and LAN connecting to router but getting Unidentified network. I think this is caused by installation of Netgear wireless router I bought but...

who is ISP? Comcast?
what service do you have, cable, DSL, FIOS, SAT , dialup.? WE CAN NEVER GUESS CLASS OF SERVICE EVER.
can you ping the router gateway addrs?
can you ping the modem address.
is DM device manager showing ETHERNET HAPPY?

what equipment is there, netgear tells me zero.
they make vast types of hardware.
that be first tell history and what is there.
get lan working first, Wifi is 10x harder. or worse in a congested zone.
BTW: HP does not support W7 on this laptop
so, all missing driver must be fetched, by hand
upgrading PC with a dead ethernet chip and internet connection is a bad idea.... doing so kills dead all Microsoft PnP actions (fetching drivers for w7)

click control panel.
click DM device manager
is DM happy? (for ethernet) get it happy first
or all this is very hard.
no unknowns, no red marks no yellow marks.
for sure on ethernet chip
