My 60 inch Sony flat screen has a green color to everything. I have replaced the lamp.

Hello.
Unfortunately most expensive part in your TV - optics block - is gone bad. Sony issued recall that is already expired for most of the models. I would still recommend you to contact Sony and figure out if you still covered under recall. If not - repair might cost somewhere in $800+ range.
Sorry for bringing bad news.
Maybe it's a time for new TV.
Regards.
Russ.

Green hue....is it the optical block? or do I require a new Lamp Block?

This problems is the optical engine block problems.Very expensive part to replaced and job by the tv Tech.If this tv been in used like for about five years or more,my opinion just better put ur money in for a new tv.The earlier tv design for the optical engine block is not that great of a design, will happen again, just don't know when that it.

Hello, I have the KDS-R60XBR1 60 inch TV. The green light flashes about 40 times and then the red light flashes about 10 times (then nothing). When the green light is flashing, you can hear the TV trying...

First, if you have the manual, open it to troubleshooting, if you don't have it; www.sonystyle.com then click on support, then manuals. you can download it for free. The manual will decipher the flashes for you to narrow down your possibilities. The three main problems in the Sony lineup are the optical block, the bulb, and the fan. The fan is the only real obvious one that can be fixed quickly. When you turn on the TV, the fan should click on ( may vary depending on your main setup from TV menu) However, if you have any compressed air (dust off) etc. The fan is on the rear of the set on the right lower 1/3rd (looking from behind set) Location is in the manual too. If the fan can't turn on, the TV will shut down. Also, go to this site for further help from "Sony"

My Sony KDS-R50XBR1 has green hues that don't seem to respond to color adjustment in the menu.

It is you Optical Block/OB. sony is offering an exchange/deal for owners of 50 and 60" xbr1. I have contacted them and they are going to send me a new TV at an awesome price. This is do to the class action law suit. optical blocks are very expensive. The tv itself is not woth the investment.

Picture has a green hue to it. what could be

This is caused by a inherent defect in the optical block of the TV. This was a common failure and the only way to fix it is to replace the whole optical block which is very expensive( over $1000) and time consuming (need to take apart the whole TV). Sony is aware of this issue but have yet to extend the warranty for this TV. There is a class action pending against Sony because of this failure. You can add your name to the class action lawsuit here: http://www.sonysxrdtvclassaction.com/main/home.sfx

No blue color, green replaced blue, white is yellow/green

Hello,

If the set is hooked up using Component cables (red, green, blue), then check to make sure the cables are hooked up correctly, and not defective (change them out). If the color problem remains, then the problem may be in the Optics block of the television (which is not unheard of in this unit).

If the menu of the TV displays blotchy discoloration, and the discoloring is the same for every input on the tv (stationary), then it is the Optics, and the optics need to be changed. It is not the easiest job in the world, and the block itself is quite expensive, although the unit my be under an extended warranty from Sony. Contact them directly to see if you can get any help (cost or service-wise). Hope this helps...
